Dancing Contest

Gauging interest in a guild dance-off. Is that something you guys would be interested? Music, Drinks and Dancing, and prizes for different things (we could do maybe best dressed, best couple, things of that nature)... Feel free to spit out ideas, too, but yeah - just seeing who all might be interested in such shenanigans

((OOC)) I think that sounds like a great idea! Get a few people around with a lute and drums and have a dancer or two at a time in the middle. Just make it something for everyone to gather around and have a chance to interact. There can be lots of drinking, eating, singing, and dancing. Let's make it an event!

((OOC)) Sound like a good idea if there is a judging panel. I can almost guarantee that it will end with half the people dancing with their clothes off. That seems to happen when you have a bunch of characters together dancing lol.

((OOC)) Haha, do it american Idol style. Three judges sitting to watch, about 4 musicians to the side playing, have people take turns coming to dance. Then a whole crowd eating, drinking and cheering.

((ooc)) lmao this is going to be fun, glad you guys are on board ^_^ I will get to planning it. Might be a judging panel, but I think that since there are limited dances people can do it might be a good idea to have some kind dice roll or something happen to choose winners of the rounds of dancing (maybe each of the judges will roll a die and then RP out their 'satisfaction' with the dancer)... But things like best costume can be more subjective in terms of the judging.
