Sounds-With-Life presents: The Incompetent Argonian Maid.

Sounds-With-Life is seeking potential Thespians to fill the roles, the required roles are as followed. Keep in mind, roles are not limited to the races they represent. A Khajiit is free to try for the role of a Dunmer

Crantius Colto: The head of House Lustra and a horny Dunmer Male. He is considered to by the "Villain" who will attempt to seduce "Lifts-Her-Tail" and cheat on his mistress. He has become bored with his Mistress and sends her away whenever he is able.

Lady Colto: Mistress to Crantius Colto. She is fed up with the one of the houses slaves: Lifts-Her-Tail and wishes to trade her for a male worker. She is not happy with how Crantius had been treating her lately, and as a result, she is secretly involved with a Khajiit Slave: Spot Eyes.

Spot Eyes: A Khajiit Slave of the House Lustra. He is Lifts-Her-Tail's best friend and looks out for her well being. While he seems to be romantically involved with Lady Colto, he only does it because she treats him better as a result. He is truly in love with Lifts-Her-Tail.

Auditions for the play will be this Saturday and Sunday in S'ren-Ja at 8:00pm EST on Saturday and 10:00pm EST on Sunday. If you are unable to make it on either day, meet with Sounds-With-Life as soon as you can.
Please have the following lines rehearsed for the Audition, Sounds-With-Life will give the Lady Colto's line if the perticipent is trying for Crantius Colto or Spot Eyes, and Vice-Versa for the other.

• Lady Colto: Well I don't understand why I must be the one to bring the crops to Mournhold, why do you not just get that Scaleback Women to bring them.
• Crantius Colto: I am sorry, my dear, but that Scaleback most incompetent worker we have. Only good for one thing if you ask me.
• Lady Colto: Of course, how could I forget. I swear we should just trade her in for a Male Worker, they are much more efficient workers, and respond better if you ask me. I don't understand why you keep her around.
• Crantius Colto: Well, for one, she is a much better at kneading a loaf then you.
• Lady Colto: That is true I suppose. She does seem to have quite a talent for it.
• Crantius Colto: Indeed she does. Her cleaning is to standard aswell. She doesn't shed all over the floor like some other servents we have.

How Auditions will work:
All chat during Auditions will be in Emote, and you will express how your character will say the line. An example of how you will say your lines will be given before the auditions.

To help speed things along, please have what you wish to say prepared before hand by typing it into a word document so you can copy and paste it. To paste a sentence in game, start typing something in chat, then press Ctrl-V. This will be a requirement for the actual performance.


How Rehearsals will work:
The rehearsals are not going to be rehearsals so to speak, but rather myself and the three others getting together to write the script. As I want the actors to insert there own character's personality into the play, this is essential. This is still primarily about the player characters, not the written characters.
When the cast is chosen, I will create a private channel on the forum where we can talk. If we can, I will also like to get the participants on Teamspeak.
When the script is written, I will send the participants the copy of it to be able to copy and paste it.

How the Performance will work
The Performance will be the actors copying and pasting a script, but emotes and effects will be added to make it more lively.

Why
This is an experiment to see if this will work. It will be simple for being the first one, but if we pull it off, I will do it again with a more spectacular performance with helpers casting spells.

Will this still be going on? If so, is the schedule the same?

Lady Colto and Spot Eye are left alone in the courtyard. After the two a sure they are alone, they speak.
Lady Colto: So my sweet furred friend, how about you help me practice my kneading again, as to improve my skills for my husband so I can get a Male Worker.
Spot Eye: My dear, you are as gileful as Ban'daari himself. This one would happily assist you.
Lady Colto: Please, claws extended. We can say the Guar attacked.
Spot Eye: Of course.

Scene Two: Cratuis Colto, Lifts-Her-Tail. Bed Chamber.
Centre Stage: Bed Stage Right: Broken Vase. Stage Left: Door.
Lifts-Her-Tail is threating over the broken vase when Colto walks in.

Colto: What has happened in here.
Lifts: I was polishing your bust and it fell off the pedestal. I'm sorry mi'lord, I truly did not mean to. Please forgive me.
Colto: I would not worry about it my dear, my wife is gone. But if you true wish to apologize, I know the perfect way you could do it.
Lifts: Anything mi'lord.
Colto: *Pushes a dagger toward Lifts* I wish for you to polish my spear. *Gives a smile*
Lifts: Polish your spear?
Colto: Indeed. "Sit3 on the bed"
Lifts: I was not aware mi'lord had a spear
Colto: *Slightly annoyed* Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. I wish for you to polish my weapon.

Scene 3, Act 1
Spot Eyes and Lady Colto are in the Servents Housing, in front of a stove. Lady Colto eats a loaf of bread.

Lady Colto: You are correct, Spotty. The claw marks certainly do let the heat seep in.
Spot Eye: Indeed, but notice how Spot Eye's loaf rises faster, yours were not deep enough.
Lady Colto: I was unaware your kind were so good with not only your tongue, but also with your hands.
Spot Eyes: Aye, but you have not seen any of the skills Spot Eyes is most proficent with.

*Enter Lifts-Her-Tail. She is confused by the happenings in the bed chamber*

Spot Eyes: But perhaps those skills could be revealed at a more private occasion. Perhaps we should leave to Mournhold now.
Lady Colto (noticing Lifts): I won't be needing your services at this time fleabag. You remain here.
Spot Eyes: And do what?
Lady Colto: Play with your Scaleback friend for all I care. Good day. *Exit*
*Lady Colto Exits, leaving Spot Eyes and Lifts.

Lifts-Her-Tail: What was that about.
Spot Eyes: The lady seems to be most unpleased with her husband, and seeks to learn this ones way with kneading a loaf.
Lifts-Her-Tail: I see. I have to wonder what she sees in you, to treat you so well.
Spot Eyes: Perhaps it is the same thing you see within me?
Lifts-Her-Tail: I would not doubt it.

*Lifts and Spot embrace, each other lovingly for but a moment, before returning to the subject at hand.*
Spot Eyes: I must tell you, Bandaari has granted us a most favorable gift to us today.

Lifts-Her-Tail: The Hist blesses us then, as I to have recieved a similar gift. *Presents the dagger* Mi'lord had asked me to polish his spear.
Spot Eyes: But Spot Eyes only spots a dagger. Not a spear as his love calls it.
Lifts-Her-Tail: I believe it may have been overcompensation.
Spot Eyes: Then we act tonight. It is time for our long vines we weaved to finally bear fruit.
Lifts-Her-Tail: And it is time for the illusion of us to drop.
