Rumors: Rae'las was a huntsman of Valenwood for many years of his early life. His family joined the Dominion, and wanted no part of the war. He works within the Dominion solely for profit and adventure. He swears no allegiance to the Queen, though he does respect her.
Background: While he was a huntsman of Valenwood, providing food and furs for his townsfolk, he was caught up in a gang of thugs that his brother ran with. When he was told to kill a traveling trader to be initiated into the gang, he refused, and lashed out at his brother and the thugs. During the confrontation, Rae'las killed the leader of the gang, who was present. This sent the other members into a fit, and they attempted to kill Rae'las. Rae'las' brother, Tel'dan, attempted to gouge his eye, but narrowly missed, scarring only his face. When the dust settled, 4 Bosmer lay dead, including Rae'las' brother. The only surviving thug fled for his life, sobbing. Rae'las decided to leave his home behind and venture off into the world, spreading justice to prevent such an event from happening to anyone else.
