S'ren-ja Guard Roll-call!

Pinned just to the right of the door to the Clan house hangs a weathered piece of parchment. It is a call to those willing and able to join the honorable S'ren-ja Town Guard. A few names are already scribbled upon the paper in a cramped handwriting, the work of a single person. Interesting. Will you stand tall with the S'ren-ja Guard and add your name to the ranks of those honorable men and women?

- Sylva was counselling Sumar :anxious: and could not attend the fight but listened to the whole thing though the open window of his house. Both these characters would be a part of the guard though. Perhaps we could run a mock up fight for their entry one RP I dont mind.

Yihn was invited to the original group of S'ren-ja guards and mercenaries by Qa'iit, when she first passed into town. She accepted it as a way to earn coin and keep herself fed. She participated in the tournament. Currently, she's wondering whether she still has a job or not. If not, she might move on, and keep wandering.

Ansaari is too free spirited to join the guard, but, seeing a piece of paper hanging there in the open she would definitely leave a doodle on it, likely either a butterfly or stick figure sheogorath.))

I don't think Milo signed up for the guard, unless he changed his mind. Though maybe he'll come in here and verify that.

This one talked with Captain Hawke last night about being a healer for the guard. Add Arisel to the list please!

Yihn would sign up, yes. She was just confused as to whether she still had the original job, but she would be very relieved to see the posting. She signs just, "Yihn".

After reacclimating herself in S'ren-ja after being gone for about a week, Sarena adds her name to the listing, frowning noticably at some of the other markings and scribblings.

A tabard rests on one of the tables at the tavern, neatly folded. A letter is put on top of it, beckoning anyone to read. This is what is written in the letter:

Dear residents of S'renja, Captain Bethany, Clan Mother Arisel, and my dear friends,

Let me begin by apologizing. I am truly sorry for all the trouble I have caused in this town. You should not suffer because of my past and my idiotic mistakes. I understand that you may or may not have forgiven me. But I for one cannot forgive myself for this. This town had just started to feel like home. I found friends and true allies after many years of travelling. So it is with a heavy heart that I resign from my position as town guard of S'renja, effective immediately. I now go in pursuit of those who attempted to lay waste to this town, my new home. I promise that I will end this, and I promise that no one else in this town will get hurt. I may or may not return, but this is what I must do to atone for my sins. This is my penance.

Korvos Sarethi rushes to the roster after Kade's assessment. He scrawls his name on the roster, stares at it for a moment, then scratches out the illegible chicken scratches with the quill. He writes his name again, carefully and neatly.
