Name: Morticide (Mort)
Age: 140
Race: Dunmer
Flair: Wears a ring on every finger, reasons unknown.

Rumors:
-Possibly took the wrong portal from Coldharbour.
-Rather ordinary sense of humour. Tends to make bad jokes at stressful times, or days ending with Y.
-Incredibly vain. Changes clothing styles and colours more often than the weather.
-Prone to drinking for special occasions. Being awake can be a special occasion. Never alone though!

Background: (What our characters don't know, but can find out!)
Has a fairly vague memory of life before awakening in Coldharbour. Seems to remember growing up somewhere around Gnaar Mok, on the west coast of Morrowind, which is a small coastal island - but barely more than that. Appears to have taken a wrong turn upon exiting Coldharbour, so is coming to terms with the fact that he is suddenly his races enemy, being of Dominion ilk now.

Became afflicted with Vampirism sometime in his 46th year, whilst travelling near Rawl'kha. Accepted the gift as a blessing, despite the disadvantages. Took time to be able to resist the blood-lust, so now only feeds on enemies, and only when it's absolutely necessary. There were dark times learning that lesson though..

Kept the 'gift' as a challenge to his own personal fortitude. Having seen many others become 'monsters', he swore to himself to rise above it - as he never was, in the 46 years prior to the affliction, a monster. Finds great pride in himself having risen above the base urges of the disease.

More than happy to share a drink with his new found dominion friends, however, and rarely needs encouragement to join in on festivities! Has a slew of fire tricks to impress and delight passersby and party revelers both.

Favoured weapons include a Greatsword of Daedric origin - name unknown, a Molten whip which was crafted of pure fire during his arcane training, and a pair of razor sharp daggers - removed from the corpse of Goblin chief Charpas Screamgutter - Sometimes stabbing something in the face is just as joyous as burning it to ashes.

((Brand new to this, so don't be too brutal please. Any tips / improvement ideas are more than welcome!))

Should probably add that his faithful Guar companion is named Altondax, which is High Dunmer for "Powerful Wanderer".

His robe, clearly of imperial weave, is not an indication of Legion service. He obtained it sometime during his 46th year, shortly after becoming afflicted. His first, and (as far as he can remember) last friendly feeding was a Legionnaire by the name of Soreilius Oriuntiulonus. Morticide met Soreilius soon after his wrong turn out of Coldharbour, during a visit to Skywatch. The Imperial was there for basic supplies for his ship, before departing to Velyn Harbour. Morticide was out on the docks, nearly delirious from having not fed since being turned, but still had that charm and charisma that had served him well in the past. He became friendly with Soreilius, and after lifting a few bottles of whiskey from the local tavern, proceeded to get the Imperial quite drunk. They spoke for several hours, mainly about where Soreilius had been during his service, brief recollections that Mort had of Gnaar Mok, and general small talk.

In what seemed like less than a heartbeat later, Mort was holding the imperials cooling body, throat torn open, completely Exsanguinated.

...

Morticide took the robe as a reminder of what can happen in a moments weakness, and used it to bolster his resolve to never take a friendly life again. Although surely tempted sometimes, he has been able to keep the oath to himself in tact, and is quite proud of it.

Has formed a somewhat odd Friendship with Starfallen, which subequently has resulted in him being Shot.

Might not be the best judge of character..
