New Flyer?

Seeing as we have pulled away from skooma production and the old flyer doesn't seem to suit us much anymore, I thought it might be time for a new flyer. Problem is I am far from a graphic artist, which is why I used paint haha. For that reason I'm going to take out the symbol on the bottom right. Personally I think it looks pixilated and gross. I left it there for the officers forum to see if anyone had a better program they could use to recreate the symbol on our tabards to use as a stamp of sorts.

This is interesting, but I think maybe the message makes it sound like we are focused on being a merchant guild, which is not the case. Though the idea and the visual of the flyer are great.
Maybe we could change it, make the text in a larger font and make the text more focused on RP.
And also include the website so people can check it out and apply and stuff.

I don't know. These are just thoughts.

yea, I wanted to keep it up in the officer forum for a bit, before "distributing" them, that way all the officers can get in their ideas on what should be said before hand. Do we have a particular focus I should be aiming for? Before the guild story was focused on Skooma production (at least so it seems, I came in when that arc was ending) , but now we have destroyed all the skooma, and aren't producing.

I was just playing off the well known auction. It gave us an RP meeting place should new members wish to test the waters before applying, without inviting griefers to Srenja haha

I don't know. Wouldn't it be too confusing to introduce rp in the auction since we get like tons of players that don't even RP in those events? and like, the chatbox gets really spammy which makes it hard for new and unexperienced rpers to follow the conversations and all.
Ain't it better to direct people to S'ren-ja to RP?
Maybe we could have a flyer for the auction, and another for the guild itself?

no that's what I want, everyone to share their ideas, I mean a flyer like this should be used to represent the guild. Because of that I think everyone should input what they think on it. I will draft up a new flyer when I get home, something more focused on general RP.

that is what I have playing around with in my head right now as to what we have to offer new members, though I am somewhat trying to keep the flyer In Character as much as possible.

I was going to post this on the ESO official forums (As I've noticed the last time we posted there was approximately 2 months ago), with added information around it, such as a link to the website, and a more detailed introduction to the guild.

Maybe it could be something like advertising the S'ren-ja town, like "Come to S'ren-ja and see our beautiful dunes"
and then you add the information about website and guild description in the post, like, you know?

Something like this?

"Looking for adventure yes? This one invites you to join the famous Blue Skooma Roleplay at the beautiful dunes of Reapers March, in the city of Srenja. With many ventures to offer all walks of life around every corner, a very lively home town, the Marbruk weekly live auction, all within a well established community full of companions. Look for us in Srenja Reapers March."

Although again i must say that the auction would be too confuso t for new members. They'd better look us up in sren ja, in my opinion.

So is roleplaying the sole focus of the guild? We don't have room for any other kinds of play?

oh, and the detail freak in me notices that the guild name needs to be corrected: Blue Skooma Roleplayers (it currently reads "Blue Skooma Roleplay").

Well, as far as I know we do have other activities, but the focos of the guild os roleplay. I mean, the name even says it.

We do have room for other kinds of play of course, to roleplayers though, since that is the primary focus. As we have barely started, from what I've seen, organized PvE content, I don't think we should advertise ourselves as dungeoneers.

I would say it is best to advertise ourselves as roleplayers, and leave the option of dungeon diving to the members of our guild, rather then advertise ourselves as dungeon divers, PvPers, and get members that don't roleplay, looking for PvE or PvP content

This. We tried to add a PvE aspect to the guild but it really came down to only a couple of us putting anything together for that. We decided that we'll focus on solely being an RP guild but if people want to PvP or run dungeons or Trials feel free to ask, you're likely to find someone interested in tagging along.
