Background:
Nyssa was chosen the night she was born to be taken into a secretive order among the Bosmer known as the Daughters of Akatosh (To those few who know of them at all). She was trained and raised in the order and would happily have spent her life there... but fate it seemed had other plans for her. When she was still a very young elf, she was acting as a messenger for the Order, traveling from one city to another. In the wilds she was set upon by bandits, her companion was tortured and killed... Nyssa was not so lucky... She was found by traveling merchants several days later nearly dead, and as it became clear later... pregnant. The baby died during child birth and Nyssa nearly followed. It took magicka and alchemy to nurse her back from the brink of death, and mend all of the damage done.
Shortly after her recovery, Nyssa went to the elders of her order and told them she wanted to take the ancient Bosmer rite called the Blood Oath. She was declared dead to the Bosmer people and freed from her duties and commitments to the Bosmer people... free to pursue her revenge... but forever a ghost among her own people...
The first attempt to gain her revenge... crude and unplanned, ended in capture... torture... and the scars that mark her body to this day and serve as reminders od the importance of diligence... She would have died then and there were it not for Conrad, the old man who rescued her from the prison cell and got her away... Conrad made Nyssa an offer... he would train her...teach her and give her the knowledge she needed to make her plan work next time... and in exchange... she would work for him and his companions in the Wardens of Twilight...
That was years ago... Nyssa has learned... she has trained... and she has never for one second forgotten... Her next attempt... she will not fail... .
