The Manor is Kalari's old house, also known as the Haunted House, in Sren'ja. Sylvaswift has bought the residence and set up home, spending a bucket load of cash fitting it out how he liked it... repairing Sumar's renovations :p and putting on extensions to cater to their individual needs.

Downstairs is the main living area, where house guests reside when visiting/living there, upstairs is open to others although considered to be Sylva and Sumar's domain. There is an open plan living area, bedroom, two secret rooms which is Sylvas office, and Sumar's playroom, (the one doubles as two) and a cellar (make believe although for reality sake can be one of the caves in Sren'ja, with an underground tunnel that leads there).

The upstairs reflects mainly Sylva's taste in decor, being opulent and expensive, he surrounds himself with luxury, downstairs is less so. Sumar's private areas reflect his tastes (which is... none at all hahaha) Broken lounges, tired old furniture, implements of restraint and assorted other things that Towim may wish to add at her leisure.

Downstairs can reflect anything the house guests wish to add e.g John may install a dart-board if he wished to make his stay more comfortable.

Thread Notes

((At present this is Open to those that have access to Sylva's & Sumar's residence - it is guarded by John Wolf, Ghosts, specially designed locks designed and installed by Sylvaswift for reasons know to only him and Sumar at this point. Things said discussed in this thread are in character but not available as general knowledge unless you get that information from one of the characters present.

Access to date given to:
John Wolf - House Guard
Lucian
Alainia
Milo & Lucrezia
Leslie Harkle
Delgar if brought in by John and Sumar does not object
Khai
Kalisita
Kyora (coz she has to be LOL) ))

Not considered guests but admittance granted.
Bbigeargo if he is truly one of Sylva's recruits as eyes and ears, he would be admitted to the house to report, the same would be for any other Stalkers.
Kath McGear would be admitted to report to Sylvaswift, but under sufferance by Sumar at this stage.

More can be added when this occurs during RP you must be invited in however and have access granted.
*** Please note this is not to be exclusive or clicky , there are IC reasons why this is so.

No one but Sumar & Sylva has access or is aware of the Secret room, Cellar/Playroom. Private Bedroom...ok maybe some will have access at some point LOL - that would be Sumar's doing though

This location is currently used by Bethany as her Guards as an office. In that case in game IC they are separate instances.

((Can we start this at any time or did you have a beginning post in mind? I'll go ahead and start it but will delete it if there is something else you had planned for this))

Lucrezia walked up the steps of the manor and towards the door. She lifted her hand to knock but then stopped herself. She'd never been inside the house before and felt awkward about inviting herself over. Even though she was on duty to guard the house right now. Since John was on house arrest, there was a guard assigned to him every day and today was Lu's day. She normally just talked to John on the porch while she guarded but today she didn't see anyone outside. She felt nervous for some reason. She knew Sylvaswift lived here and though they were friendly to each other, she didn't still didn't really know him very well. Especially not well enough for more than just awkward small talk. Still, she ignored her anxiety and knocked on the door anyway.

((Nope - no problems I just put the thread out there))

Sylvaswift was simply lounging around, killing time doing very little, when he heard a knock at the door. He sighed loudly at having his boredom disturbed before dragging himself down the two flights of stairs to get the door. "Where the hell is John, or the house maid even?" he grumbled to himself.

He peered through a number of hidden spy-holes to identify the caller as the lovely Lucrezia and his mood lifted substantially. A number of metallic clicks and whirs could be heard as he unlocked, unlatched and unbolted the large double-thick reinforced door.

The large front door opened slowly, with a very loud, god-awful screech as multiple, specially designed iron hinges scraped across each other, announcing to all within miles the front door was being opened.

"Hello Lucrezia. To what do I owe the pleasure of your beautiful company this glorious day?" Sylvaswift smiled warmly. "Do come in."

After a few minutes of waiting for someone to open the door, Lucrezia decided to just come back later. She turned to leave just as she heard the loudest noise and realized it was coming from the door. When she turned around, she was face to face with the handsome black Khajiit, Sylvaswift.

She smiled brightly, her anxiety melting away after hearing his charming greeting and pleased smile. "Hello Sylva! I hope I'm not disturbing you." she accepted his invitation to come in and slowly stepped inside the house. She was surprised to find that the inside looked nice and comfortable, compared to the haunted house look that the outside gave.

"Wow, I really like what you've done to the place." she commented before continuing. "Oh, so, It's my day to guard John. Or well, not exactly guard him but guard all of you...Uhh, the whole place, really." her face flushed as she tried to find her words. She was always so nervous around people other than the few that knew her well. "Ignore my rambling, you probably know what I mean." she smiled again. "Is John here?"

John was indeed in. Hidden from Lucrezia's line of sight, he sat shirtless behind the large table on the first floor, the myriad pieces of his armor scattered across the tabletop like fallen leaves. Two tall bookshelves framed the wall behind him, packed full of fiction, discourses, and histories. Very few of them with dust on the binding. There was a mild stink in the air, an alkili stench coming from the deep black dye he was currently swabbing onto the leather. He worked gloveless, the deep dye staining his fingers and nails a matte charcoal black.

He briefly looked up from his work when Sylva opened the door. "I'm in here, Lu," he called, then lowered his eyes once more to the task at hand.

She smiled when she heard John's voice and peeked around in the direction that it was coming from. She finally saw John at the table, working away. Though she gave a little smirk and raised her eyebrows at the shirtless John. He was starting to be like a big brother type to her but still, you couldn't deny that he was attractive.

Still standing in front of Sylva, Lucrezia looked around again as she talked to John from across the room. "Well hello John. Good, you're still here. No escaping today, I see." she joked, but a little serious, since he had been caught twice already breaking his house arrest. But both times were understandable and excused.

She looked back at Sylva, "Are you liking it here? Your place is nice enough."

Sylvaswift sneered faintly when he saw John dyeing his armour inside the house. His focus remained on him as he replied to Lucrezia.

" Liking it here? Yes. And thank you... it was much nicer." He turned his attention away from John to look at Lucrezia.

Sylvaswift stepped back and bowed lightly and made a sweeping motion with his arm. " Come in, come in. Make yourself at home... perhaps I should specify though 'at home' does not include messing up the place."

Lucrezia watched the look Sylva gave John when he noticed that he was dyeing his armor in his house. She tried not to laugh but was sure that a smile could be seen on her face. This was just hilarious to her. Sylva, who seemed to like nice, clean, orderly things was sharing his home with John, who seemed the type to just come in, prop his feet up and clean his boots right there on the kitchen table. She wondered how long this was going to work out for them.

"Mess up this place? I wouldn't dare dream of it! It's so nice and clean, I'm hesitant to even touch or sit on anything in here. But thank you for your hospitality." She walked closer to the wall and leaned on it, so she could see Sylva and John at the same time.

"Does Alainia stay here too?" she asked, curious

"Alainia? She visits at the moment, not stays, no. Now, don't be silly, sit, sit, so long as you can do so without destroying the furniture. Ignore me, I jest - mostly." Sylva grinned broadly to prove his honesty. "Can I get you a drink perhaps?"

(Just get to me when you fell like it I'm in no rush lol)

Argo was still recovering but that didn't mean he couldn't walk at least. He decided he would check in on Sylva since laying in bed was starting to get to boring for him. As he walked up to Sylva's place in his new outfit he decided to start wearing, he pulled down his hooded face mask and knocked on the heavily reinforced door *knocking noise*

"Excuse me." Sylvaswift said to Lucrezia and went to answer the door. He checked first through a tiny spy-hole to find it was Bbigeargo. He opened the door wide. "Gear, old friend. To what do I owe the honour? "

Giving a nod. "Greetings friend Sylva! " Argo had heard this phrase that was asked many times before but he always forgot the proper way to answer to it. So instead he answered with a question. "Sylva, this one wonders why does he have a strong door to keep others out yet weak walls around it; this one could simply break down to get in?" Sure the question had nothing to do with why he decided to visit a bit; he asked it with out thinking. "Sorry if one confused Sylva his mind tends to wander, yes? " Shrugging in reply.

Lucrezia was about to speak when there was a knock at the door and Sylva politely excused himself to go answer it. She looked around the room and then walked towards the table where John sat, dyeing his armor. She brushed some dirt off her tabard and leggings and sat down in one of the empty chairs next to John. When she heard Bbigeargo's voice, she peeked back into the entrance way to smile and wave at him.

Sylvaswift gave Geargo a puzzled look. "The walls are made of thick solid wood friend. How does that make them weak?" Sylvaswift reached a fist across to give Gear a friendly noogie. "Always thinking eh." Sylvaswift withdrew his hand with a wink. "Come in then, if you wish."

John was indeed the type to flop down, relax, and clean his boots in the middle of the living room floor. To his credit, however, he had laid down a thick drop-cloth to catch potential stains. Using a thick cotton swab, he dabbed the dye on in precise, small patches that carefully avoided the pre-existing gold trim. When Sylva glared at him, John lifted his arms and flexed at the khajiit, his toned upper body tightening, showing off his musculature and scars. It was obvious the fighter was built for power and was quite capable of exercising that strength. He winked at Sylva, getting back to his work just as Lucrezia stepped inside.

He nodded at Lu as she sat down, refraining from shooing her away or being standoffish as he would with most other guards. "Having a good day?" he asked, not lifting his blue eyes from his work.

Argo nodded with an small chuckle " thank you Sylva " and stepped in side " this one simply wanted to talk is all if Sylva isn't busy , per haps this one can tell Sylva an tale he wishes to hear?" he chuckles a bit more and also ask " can this one take an seat , he is well but his strength haven't fully returned yet" as he moved over and sat on the couch hoping Sylva wouldn't mind but he did have a few things to tell Sylva that he might be wanting to hear as well

"Well perhaps a tale would be better suited to the next time we find ourselves with nothing to do at the Clan House, yes? This one was rather hoping you would have a report for him." Paused a moment gauging Gear's expression. "If not you will have to excuse Khajiit, you have caught him at a rather busy time." He lied.

Argo eyed over sylva a bit disappointed that sylva like most of his friends of late was also busy and coldly replyed "very well this one does not wish to waist ones time then , he will be brief , if one already knows fell free to tell him that one knows so he isn't waisting him time then, yes? Has any one told him of the dark brother hood attack?" Argo looked around idley and waved over at john and Lucrezia just now noticing them

"Sylvaswift thought you would be able to tell him, yes? If you truly wish to be this one's eyes & ears you must be so, that does not include standing around idly telling stories. If this is what you prefer then perhaps invest in a lute and sing ballads about your exploits. This one apologizes if he appears rude, but this is business, and this is what Khajiit expects of those in his employ."

Sylvaswift fidgeted in the doorway entrance clearly irritated. It really had nothing to do with Bbigeargo, nor was Sylvaswift really busy. There were other things going on with him, none of which his acquaintances were aware of, or would ever be aware of for that matter.

Argo could have easily just argued with Sylva on the manners bit today, he really didn't feel like it. Since he figured this would happen, he handed a few pages to Sylva which he pulled out of his jacket, a pre-written report, and continued to walk out of the door irritated. "Then he will tell him, this one is sorry for wasting Sylva's time then." As he excused himself and left. He grumbled quietly to himself as he walked away back to his home pulling back up his hood. "Let this one know perhaps when he can just be an friend as well, yes?"

Clearly isolation might have made him a bit grumpy but it didn't matter as he went back to it sighing a bit, as it started to rain as well.

Lucrezia tried to ignore the conversation in the next room. It wasn't any of her business and she didn't want to seem nosy, though she was curious. She had heard that Sylva employed people to keep an eye out on things and report back to him often. She kept hearing the term Stalkers being used a lot in the Clan House and back in Woodhearth. She always wondered what that job consist of. She figured one day she may just ask Sylva or Sumar, just out of curiosity. But honestly, they both intimidated her a little bit so she was always hesitant to ask either of them anything really.

She snapped out of her thoughts when John spoke to her. "Oh yes, I'm having a good day so far. I took your advice about Milo and now things are pretty great." she smiled and watched him continue dyeing his armor. "How are you? Are you about to go nuts being cooped up inside all day? I bet you're ready to get back to guard duty again."

Sylvaswift took the papers from Argo. "Thank you." He listened to his short rant patiently and watched his friend walk out the door. His brow creased as it dawned on him he had been very rude. Had Sylva been the kind of Khajiit that was adept at fostering friendships he would have sought to mend the offense. However, relationships on any level were new to him and his sensibilities were overwhelmed at present with Sumar. So he just shut the door and returned, without word to anyone, upstairs.

Upstairs Sylvaswift sat at his desk to attend to his books and paperwork, this didn't last too long as he found his mind wandering often. After several attempts to focus and re-focus, he eventually conceded that he would accomplish nothing that day. After packing his things away carefully, he proceeded to pace the room fretfully.

He wondered briefly about Kyora in the secret room and pondered the notion of visiting with her, deciding against it in the end. His next thoughts were Rawl'kha, he would ride to the city, perhaps visit Kalistia and learn of her progress with her research on Werewolves. The tavern with its wenches was the perfect place for him to spend his hours when he was in one of these moods; at least it used to be in the past... for he quickly found himself with little motivation to ride all that way. The promise that whores once held for him in the past had strangely soured for him.

His thoughts turned towards Sumar's little black case. Of course, Sumar had taken it with him in his pack. Sylvaswift sighed. It was often a source of comfort to him whenever Sumar was absent, just smelling the scent of his favoured pipe-weed relaxed him in a reassuring sense that Sumar still existed - somewhere. Sylvaswift was strangely homesick and lost in his own home and he hated this feeling of vulnerability.

It was then he spotted some of his homemade brew, god-awful stuff but potent. He grabbed the bottle, undressed until he was naked and climbed into their huge four-poster bed. Plumping his pillow up to place behind his back he rested against the headboard and un-corked the bottle with an extended nail, in the exact way that he had watched Sumar do this. He took a swig and grimaced as he pulled the bottle away in disgust from his mouth before looking down at Sumar's pillow.

"You are right lover, not the best year." He reached down and carefully lifted the pillow so it sat upright beside him. "Care for another try?” He asked the pillow tilting the bottle toward it. Sylvaswift paused as if truly listening to the pillow’s reply. "Please yourself." He shrugged and took another long swig, finishing with several rapid shakes of his head, trying to shake the bitter taste away. Sylvaswift then went on to talk about random things to Sumar's pillow; he covered many topics over the time it took him to finish the bottle. Eventually, he fell asleep - passed out, hugging the pillow tightly, and inhaling deeply the precious scent Sumar had left behind.

The next day Sylvaswift woke with a whopping hangover. He lay in his bed with only pillow Sumar for company - the real one was still away on a job. He chatted with his pillow companion quietly about his plans for the day.

"I need to go visit Ri'sari and see how he fares. Then try and do some book-work... perhaps Ill do the stables too." He paused remembering Gear's visit the day before. "I think I will pop in on Gear, I was very short with him, rude even. He was hurt apparently in the Brotherhood attack, quite badly I think." He sighed loudly. "I am loosing touch with everyone, lover. I blame you, of course." Sylva chuckled. "Not that I am complaining." He sat up... "Oh f..." and lay straight back down again and moaned. "This may take awhile."

Kalistia and Khai entered Sylva's manor as the maid opened the front door and admitted them. She promptly relayed to them the news that Sylvaswift had been arrested and was held in a Jail Cell in Sren'ja. They knew this already, that was the reason for their visit. They'd been to see him and had discussed his plans over with him. Kalistia produced a piece of parchment bearing his signature and seal releasing her from her duties. Kalistia and Khai would be moving in and taking over the running of Sylva's affairs until he returned. Once the maid had removed herself from the premises they both set about putting Sylvaswift's affairs in order.

Lucrezia knocked on the door of Sylva and Sumar' s manor. She had learned her lesson about just barging in from the last time she was there. She was happy to see them both around and well recently, she had been worried about Sylvaswift since his trial. She had meant to speak to him before now but something always seemed to be going on to stop her from doing so.

She sighed at took a few steps back, waiting to see if anyone was home.

I just want to see how you were doing. You're trial was terrible, I hated having to witness that. I hope you know that not everyone agreed to your punishment."

She looked around for a moment, trying to see if anyone else was there. "Is Sumar here? I wanted to apologize to him for the drama he had to witness the other day. That was really embarrassing."

Smiled at Lucrezia knowing what she referred to, even though she was not aware of his presence at the time. Sumar is not present at the moment, I can however pass your words on to him when he returns or you are welcome to come in and wait for him if you wish.

"Oh, you can just tell him that John, Milo and I can still work together just fine. I'm sure of it." she didn't go into details, not sure what Sumar may have told him. And she hoped they all could get along. She didn't need any more weirdness between them.

"Yes, I could only imagine how that would have been like. I'm sorry I didn't visit you." she said with a frown and her head down.

The Khajiit's hand was soft and it tickled her chin a little. She couldn't up but smile then. "That is true, it looks like you've got many things to keep you happy." she held her hands up to gesture to the house.

"Thank you for giving Sumar my message. If the two of you need anything, I'll be around." she smiled brightly and then gave a little bow.
