NEXT MONDAY'S EVENT: 9/8

With the clip-clop of horse hooves on pavement, a tall figure rides into S'ren-ja. Blue Skooma has made its way across the Reaper's March, and the black market is saturated with the trademark product of the Sugar Claws. "But we're not doing it this time!"

Myreni Thalahassa, Eye of the Queen says "bullshit."

The Eye of the Queen arrives in S'ren-ja, calling together an assembly underneath the Thinking Tree. By the orders of the Dominion, S'ren-ja is to be placed on lockdown. No one may come or go until sufficient evidence is collected to prove the town's guilt -- or its innocence.

Myreni permits the townsfolk to go and attempt to find evidence under the supervision of several higher-ups. ((I will need volunteers to lead scavenger hunting groups in several key locations. Myreni may lead a group herself, also.))

At each location, the leading officer will be acting GM for scavenger group. Characters will interact with objects, ie:

"[Korvos Sarethi] examines the bookshelf in the corner, scanning his eyes over the leather-bound volumes, looking for anything out-of-place."

The acting GM will then dictate what the character finds.

"[Myreni Thalahassa] There is a small tuft of fur clinging to one of the books, as if someone bumped into the bookshelf in a hurry to leave area."

At each location, one key piece of evidence will be hidden. The locations are as follows:

The Clanmother's House: A ripped and trampled fragment of a note will be found wedged underneath the bar in the kitchen. The fragment is barely legible, but reads: "--Bl-e Skoo-- shipment will arriv- -o -- plant during Ice-E-- celebr--."

The Guardhouse: In one of the cells, a loose brick will be found in the wall. A cache of lockpicks and a small bottle of kindlepitch lie behind the brick, emergency supplies for someone in case they were imprisoned.

The Destroyed Skooma Lab: HELLO, the place is destroyed! Without a lab, S'ren-ja doesn't have the means to mass-produce skooma. But in the ashes of the destroyed equipment, two sets of footprints trail to and from the entrance, as if two people were looting the destroyed lab to salvage any useable equipment. One set belongs to a man or a mer, possibly a bosmer or a female from any other race. The other belongs to a small khajiit, possibly the same one that made the claw-marks in the Brewery.

The Friend House: Underneath the Friend House, wedged into one of the corners of the supports is a dead drop location. The panel of wood on the support is loose and can be removed, where there will be a rolled-up note. The note will read, "News from Rawl-kha: they're sending an Eye to investigate S'ren-ja. Be on your guard. Use the masking enchantment and plant the next cache of Blue Skooma in the Storehouse under the cover of night. Don't make it too hard to find, the Eye must think that the Sugar Claws are the crooks she seeks."

The Storehouse: Hidden in a barrel will be a new cache of Blue Skooma. The skooma is not of the same make as Ice-Eye's, and it was certainly not there the night before.

IF A CHARACTER TRIES TO FOLLOW THE SPY'S SCENT: The spy (unnamed for now) has a masking enchantment, mentioned in the evidence piece from the Friend House. If a werewolf or vampire or Wolverine-esque character tries to follow the spy's trail, dictate that the scent seems to change and confound on a whim. Whoever was here was aware of the werewolves/vampires/Wolverine-esque characters and did not want to be tracked.
