By the Light, how long have I been here without doing this? Oh, well...let's get started shall we?
For starters, my ESO account name is RedLion2000 (Reasoning behind that is here: http://www.blueskooma.com/forum/page/1/m/22417574/viewthread/13875057-are-you-named-that), though my real name is Daniel. Most just call me 'RL' or in more recent cases 'Red'.
Currently 32, almost 33 as of this posting, and living practically on the GA/SC border in the States. Been married almost 10 years now, but circumstances have not allowed my wife and me to stay together for too long. Those of you that have heard 'the voice' over Teamspeak, that is my wife Lynn who has expressed an interest to meet everyone and eventually join up in the game one day.
Simply put, I'm just your average Joe with a not quite 9-to-5 job, but I do enjoy many types of video games in my free time, mostly puzzle games and a few RPGs, as well as a plethora of sometimes-obscure tabletop games. I do wish for a good local tabletop RPG campaign, but a good group never seems to last too long for some reason.
I am an avid tokusatsu (special effects drama in Japan) fan--mostly Super Sentai and Kamen Rider--and will sometimes cite and/or reference them in most anything I do. This also applies to the cult classic sci-fi series Firefly as indicated by my use of the words 'shiny' and 'gorramn'. I have also recently started reading Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files book series thanks to a friend of mine, though Catamount by Michael Peak will always be my favorite book.
I did play WoW when Cataclysm dropped up until before ESO hit when the devs began to over-simplify things in preparation for Warlords of Draenor. Nowadays, of course, ESO is my MMO of choice. I've been with the ES series every since Morrowind, mostly thanks to our furry friends, the Khajit. ^_^;
Aside from my weakness to felines in general, I enjoy a good sitting of Chinese food and am thankful for a damn good restaurant for it practically next door to me. And maybe ice cream. Especially chocolate. ^_^
I'm normally pretty calm, but if I come of a little abrasive to you, especially in Teamspeak, it is normally not your fault. There are just some days at work where I'm bombarded by complete and utter idiots, and the aggravation has a tendency to stick to me for a while. >_>
