Do you like guns? I DO!

Some things said OOC at the event tonight made me want to start this thread... anyone else with pics to share? This is my Mossberg 715T Tactical .22LR. Very reliable little rifle with a few mods I added on to it. I've also go 20 gauge shotgun and a pink Red Ryder BB gun.... for my daughters of course haha.

These are not mine, but I got to shoot these beauts about a month ago in the Colorado Rockies. Sooooooo much fun! We all felt like badasses.

I've been pretty scarce lately due to work and all, but I couldn't help jump in on this one. Ah, the benefits of working at a sporting goods store. : )

This one was my first gun, a plain-old stock 12g Remington 870. First gun I've ever shot too. Everyone warned me against starting with a 12g, but I don't do things like other people.

A few months later I decided I wanted to completely outfit it for deer hunting, turn it into an all-purpose gun, as it were. Purchased the black synthetic stock, cantilevered rifled barrel and a Nikon Prostaff scope. It all switches out within a quick minute and it's hella fun to shoot. The 3 inch slugs I shoot kick hard and it's LOUD. :D I have trouble getting anyone else to try it with me.

Eventually I picked up a .22 just for some fun. I had some money to throw around so I picked up the prettiest thing I could find in the store. What can I say? XD I'm still a girl, I like pretty shiny things. This one's a Henry Golden Boy, and it shoots like a dream. It's a new gun, but built like the old lever-action rifles like you see in the westerns. It takes longer to load because of the tube magazine, but holds up to 15 .22 cartridges at a time. The stock is American walnut, the receiver is brasslite and it's got a classic octogon shaped barrel. It's a lot of fun to just pop them all off one right after another.

I've got a Savage Arms Mark II in a .22 caliber as well, just for hunting. I don't have any pictures of that one. It's just your standard bolt-action rifle.

My dad has a few .22s that's it, rented a few guns out in vegas (where you can rent basically anything). I know I've rented the Tommy gun, an M3, I believe an MP5. There was also a gun my brother rented that I tried out, in the same family as the M16 but it was not that particular gun. My brother brought along his friend who was in the police academy, who let me try out the 1911 he had as well as a shotgun, fell in love with the shotgun and I want my own haha. I've also tried shooting a revolver when I was little... almost smacked myself in the face with it when it kicked back haha, I was probably around 13 years old at the time.

I really want to go back to Vegas and rent the grenade launcher... 20$, 1 shot and bragging rights to say you've shot a grenade launcher haha.

I don't have a picture, but I do have a few guns! And by few I mean ALOT. I'm going hunting soon, so that'll be fun. :P

The top pistol is dated 1868, the bottom is dated 1810. The tube above is an antique bronze scroll case. All were obtained (and likely well-used) in the region of Afghanistan. They have probably been used, as they both smell richly of gunpowder. One is drilled, the other is not.

My husband bought them for me, knowing I was fond. :)

Oh my God those are beautiful. Are they still functional?

The older one is drilled, but the smooth barrel flintlock is probably functional.

I love guns.. I'm going hunting this weekend, crossbow and a 12 gauge, I can't wait! :P
