Fighting style/skill:
J'ahay relies on the use of daggers and other various short knives or even small swords. He can throw quite well but his mastery is at the two handed dagger dance. When he attacks, J'ahay will move in a flurry of blades which most enemies cant keep up the speed. It is very difficult to match him in his strength in fighting. J'ahay can also use the bow, however more for hidden assassinations than actually combat.

The best way to fight J'ahay in close combat is to overwhelm him with strength and wear very heavy armor where it is difficult for J'ahay to pierce through and hit his enemy. However be careful not to
exhaust yourself as J'ahay can outrun an enemy in heavy armor.

Magick confuses J'ahay and it would be the best way to defeat him in a fight. Cast as many spells as possible to keep up the confusion and it will make it difficult for J'ahay to concentrate and then throw his
daggers at you.

His Story:
J'ahay was born to Jo'hat and Ma'rka, 21 years ago in the slums of Rawl'Kha. What was unique about J'ahay was that his fur was pitch black as were his eyes. At night, even as a young child, he could hide himself very well and put this learning to use on early in his life. His parents had little possessions, but they made do with whatever they had. J'ahay himself was a curious and shy little Khajiit. By the age of 3, he was already being taught pickpocketing by some of the older Khajiit children around the slums. Although as a youngen he never realized it, J'ahay was being forced and bullied to do things for them. His very light build and small size made it easy for others to overpower him. As the years went on, his parents noticed what the older children were doing to their son. One day, Jo'hat decided to intervene and went to speak to the Butcher about his kid. Kharal's son was the main one doing and leading all the bullying on J'ahay. The moment Jo'hat confronted Kharal shouting started. Kharal was in a foul mood on this day, having just had spent hours separating spoiled meat from the rest. Within minutes the argument escalated to such a scale that Kharal pulled a butcher's dagger and started approaching Jo'hat very threateningly. J'ahay, realizing that his fat her was in danger, pounced and bit a finger of Kharal off. At that moment it was not safe anymore for the family to stay in Rawl'Kha, so they decided to move on to Dune.

After several hours of walking already that day, they had decided to rest and eat their afternoon snack at the side of the road, with noone else in sight. All of a sudden they came. The Black Brotherhood attacked and within moments Jo'hat and Ma'rka lay splayed on the sand that was slowly getting red. A middle-aged Khajiit by the name of Ri'zzh stood over their bodies and started to laugh. J'ahay was taken into the Brotherhood and from that day on his life changed completely. J'ahay never found out who was behind the contract. So at the age of six, J'ahay joined the ranks of the brotherhood. For two years he was a slave, performing all sorts of servant tasks. However the brotherhood soon realized his potential and when they caught him stealing extra food for himself, J'ahay was not punished instead he started his training.

For three years he trained constantly, slowly being better at stealth, stealing, and fighting with daggers. Soon Ri'zzh had to take over some of the teaching as J'ahay proved to be adept with daggers. At the age of 11, J'ahay was first sent out to help with contracts and missions. For two years he was used as bait, distractions, and stole things if appropriate for the mission. During this time he was still being trained most of the time as the Brotherhood had not deemed him ready for assassination yet. All that changed at the ago of 13, when J'ahay took his first life. Within the ranks, he was now not known as the small cub who could be ordered around, instead he was respected and left alone by the others. Then at the age of 16, J'ahay finally completed his training and was made a fully fledged assassin, ready to take on his contracts.

5 years and countless murders, assassinations, and contracts later J'ahay was in Rawl'Kha when he overheard someone talking about the brotherhood and looking for it. Upon further investigation he met up with Elysnia, Elros Derodil and Ser Krynger Battlecat. The three were looking to take revenge upon the Brotherhood for the attacks and attempted purge on the town of S'ren-ja not to far away. To the others of the brotherhood, J'ahay had seemed almost like a husk with nothing inside. He was very quiet and took to himself since the day his parents were killed, showing no emotion. Indeed that day had broken something inside of him. However there was something inside the husk that had waited for 15 years to finally reveal itself. Vengeance boiled within his body that J'ahay had had difficulty in concealing it to the Brotherhood at times. Since the day that his parents were killed he wanted to kill Ri'zzh and the others for what they had done. On this particular day he saw his chance and met with the group, gaining enough of their trust to join them. He led them to the lair and as a group they managed to slay almost all. J'ahay himself got his vengeance on Ri'zzh at long last however he almost succumbed to bitter wounds from the battle. Elros saved his life by turning him into a werewolf with the help of Krynger's claws. (Read the Aftermath rp story for a detailed rp of that meeting and battle). As he finished and left his old life behind, J'ahay decided to head to this S'ren-ja and see if he could have a fresh start at life.
