Officer's Meeting Notes for 9/30/2014
Commerce Dept.
Battlecat bought the guild vendor in Daggerfall (Stormhaven) – no access to good ones. This week's vendor was bought as an absolute last resort.
-plans on donating personally to guild in order to secure an more lucrative location
-BC and Ice are compiling a basic price list for most common materials. Prices are a guideline, not a rule. Intent is to help guild members get an idea of how much their items are worth. Commerce for Dummies. :)

(note) Arisel- pulls out 5k each week for screenshot contest
Scribe Dept.
Arisel and Kath are working on it. Guild story updates and Newsletter are on schedule to be released.
Eddiember has returned from a brief unplanned hiatus.
(note) Officers: Please give a few days notice if you are going to be away from the game for a while.
(idea) Recording Officer meetings and uploading the files to allow members to listen/ officers to catch up on missed meetings.
Diplomacy Dept.
Kish/Ji reminded Diplomacy Officers to keep recruitment in mind.
*Try to make a recruitment run every time you are on, if possible.
*Let a Diplomacy Officer know if you would like to collaborate with other RP guilds
*Help new members and make them feel welcome. :)

(idea) Creating Blue Skooma-themed memes?
Roleplay Department:
Cross-guild RP – Always handle cross-guild RP with respect and fairness.
We were approached by Twin-Tails Co. re: a cross-guild RP involving a war effort themed story. Gathering supplies, intelligence, etc.
-tentatively considering. Would like to send Diplomacy and RP officers to scope out the guild culture and smooth relations before jumping in as a large group.
Kin of the Shadow Phoenix, based out of the Arena, approached us re: a cooperative story environment. More focused on an RP black market/underground/arena theme, an association could provide shadowy characters an outlet for meaningful RP. Being a small guild, KotSP is a promising candidate for fostering a good inter-guild relationship.
Friday will be the final RP in the current story arc.
Future RP Opportunities:
-introducing moonsugar farming as a source of income
-Myreni Thalahassa (Thalmor officer in charge of the investigation in S'ren-ja) will be remaining in S'ren-ja as a recurring character.
-New Clan Alpha RP: When candidates are ready to be brought forward, please bring the story to PhoenixTheKid to have it run as an official guild story.
-Harvest Festival/ Tales and Tallows event
-Wedding of Kade and Kath
-possible murder mystery story (maybe too overdone)
-A play/ talent show. Need actors and/or participants.

*amusing haiku contest
-possible theft (Kazzah's magical puzzle box?)

Currently recruiting for Roster Department – looking for 1 Roster officer. If you are interested in becoming a roster officer, please apply to the website and speak with a senior officer or guild leader about becoming an officer.

Member of the Week: Krynger Battlecat, for his dedication to the Commerce department.
Eddiember: structuring a guide on RP etiquette, in addition to a formal “How to Roleplay” class, held (once a month/ once a week/ once every other week? [frequency TBA])
-possible implementation of a point-buy skill system, in order to balance characters within the story and facilitate an easier way of dealing with combat scenes.
