Morag Tong in Sren'ja

A most beautiful, wicked smile played across her face as she eyed her partner and unfolded the note. She curled her index finger in a motion beckoning for her male counterpart to stand beside her and read along.>







The Story[/size]

That's right! Two members of the Morag Tong are now in Sren'ja. Don't worry, there will be no purging or anything of that nature as The Dark Brotherhood storyline had. They are here only to execute the target, Ceylian, and will probably use Elsynia as leverage, given that they are close friends. They do not seek to kill any others that are not their writ target, but are not afraid to if the completion of their writ is threatened.

Currently they are attempting to assimilate into Sren'ja and are posing as simple travelers looking for work. If asked about their business in Sren'ja, the female will tell you that she used to work as a courtesan, but is looking to end that life and perhaps become a trader or merchant. The male will tell you that he is a sellsword, looking to help those who need his talents with a blade. They will say that they are close friends who used to live in Morrowind before the war put them out of their homes, forcing them to become nomadic to find a means of income.

After they successfully assimilate into Sren'ja and collect enough information on their target, they will attempt to complete the writ. Details here have not been worked out, though they will probably end up capturing/threatening Elsynia to get Ceylian to give up his life a bit easier.

Ceylian and I who are also playing the parts of the two assassins have attempted to come up with a resolution that leaves all characters alive. And trust me, that was difficult. So if things seem not so climatic or are slightly outside the lore, please forgive us.

We plan to have a Dark Brotherhood member threaten the two Morag Tong members once they are revealed as such, before Ceylian is killed. The member of the Brotherhood will claim Sren'ja as an area that the Brotherhood's contracts cover, especially after all of the dealings of the Brotherhood that have happened. This would not allow the two to execute the writ given that that would encroach on the Brotherhood's matters there. The two of the Morag Tong will have to return to Balmora to their superiors without the writ completed.

((This is really good! I just want you to know that there are now officially NPC guards all around the village, so any attacks will be subdued and arrests will be made IC even if an actual guard isn't present. We had to do this because people were attacking each other without repercussion and it was driving us nuts. If the target is to be killed, it is best to do it just outside of the village so the main storyline isn't potentially disrupted. Also if you need help let me know!))

So, with the NPC guards, is there any possibility of being able to do a sort of stealth attack within the town or is our only option to take the assassination attempt outside of Sren'ja?

(A stealthed attack could probably still happen, but for it to make sense it would have to happen in an empty room or within the shadows of a building. Stabbing the target in front of half the village is probably not the best route haha, not that I think you guys would do that. We're just trying to keep side storylines from creating a crazy amount of havoc or making S'ren-ja look like a lawless gang haven))

I am so in, sign me up for the Dark Brotherhood character! >:D
