After speaking with Donvyn about my daily routine (and after the evil glare he gave me) I've decided to trade in Hunting and other very active and possibly dangerous hobbies (like trying to outrun bears and tigers) for more calm and less dangerous hobbies. I'll be taking notes of what I learn as I try each activity.

Hobbie #1: Clothes Making

1. Making clothes actually is a little dangerous. The end of the needles in my sowing kit Sarena gave me are VERY sharp! One went through my finger very good.

2. Blood does not come out of fabric. My finger wound bled all over my brand new fabric and will not come out. It was a pretty light pink color too. I even tried to wash it in the bucket outside the house but I forget that was dirty water, not clean water (usually Milo handles this kind of thing but being blind sort of changes things), so now my pretty light pink fabric is now a dark red and brown color.

3. Fabric is expensive and there are so many different types!

4. Don't try to make fancy cute cut outs with the scissors until you know which part of the body that piece of clothing is going to cover/not cover.

5. Tummy armor is tricky to make. Metal is strong enough to protect baby but is heavy and hard to manipulate into shape. Everything else is about the same problem and since you would have to make new tummy armor very often as tummy grows, it would get very expensive. Now I know why pregnant woman don't battle, no good cheap tummy armor. Disappointing.

6. Smaller clothes are just as hard to make as bigger clothes. Baby clothes are coming out all different sizes and look uneven. I have no baby yet to measure. Wait, maybe one of the other mothers will let me measure their baby. I will ask Atrabi next time I see her.

7. Be careful with pins when you have a live person as your model and helper. Also remember to get more bandages for Milo.

8. Try to get a female model to wear the dresses as men do not like to wear them, even in the comfort and privacy of their own home and will pout and wine about it the whole time.

((I have to get Lu to make more dresses and have Argo and Korvos try them on. Maybe even while Peri and Lucian are there, just to see their reactions lol))

((Sure! It might be fun to RP it in game some time and then I'll write up how it went. Mighty said Mojiq wants to learn to cook so so maybe he will join the lesson also. I'll warn you though, Lu is not a good student! lol ))

Hobbie #2: Cooking

What I learned after a cooking lesson with Gnarlus:

1. For a goblin, he's very worried about hygiene. I assured him that I did wash my hands before poking at the runny cookie mold I made.

2. There are many different type of cups to measure with! There are 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2 cup. And you have to use different cups for each ingredient. For example. We made moon sugar cookies so I used the 2 cup for moon sugar, filled the 1 cup with salt, filled the 1/4 two times with flour, and the 1/2 four times with milk. I think that was all the ingredients.

3. When you put too much milk in the dough, it turns into a runny mess. But it's fun to make drawings in with your fingers.

4. There are also a lot of different spoons and bowls. I kept getting bowls and Gnarlus kept putting them back, saying they were wrong. They are bowls. What's wrong about them?

5. There's a spoon just for tea!

6. Gnarlus does not like to make fairy cookies and will tell you "Bippity boppity no!"

7. You lay the foil on the baking pan...you do not wrap the foil around the mold.

8. When over the fire, the baking pan gets very hot and will burn you!

9. Never feed moon sugar cookies to Deadra, it causes them to explode back to Oblivion. Poor Kolmok.

10. Also make sure a Khajiit has milk when he tries the sugar cookies, so he don't almost choke to death.
