Adanis was born in my very own great tree, the Elderoot. His mother Delfina Loresquire, and father Ralius Loresquire smiled upon the birth of there first son. Before this day a mage of the courts named Malius of Grahtwood despised Ralius and seaked to destroy Ralius. Ralius knew Malius's secret, he knew of Malius's pure hatred for his country because of devegetation caused by outsiders to the forest. Malius, one day, sought out to find magic that would create a barrier from the outside world. Malius eventually stumbled upon a temple where a box lay with rays of the sun gleaming through a hole in the ceiling of the temple. As he opened the box to reveal a bright green gem my roots grew from the ground around the corrupted Bosmer mage. As Malius saw this he trembled before my wraith and quickly released a potion that burned at my roots and they rooted themselves back into the ground.
The gem gleamed in the mages hand as he walked away with his treasure, the stone of Y'ffre.
In a groove of the forest he rose it in the night it gleamed brightly and alit the whole forest as if it was day. He spoke the language of the Alyeids, the ground began to shake, and just as he began to finish the ritual a young wandering Bosmer named Ralius leaped to crush the mage's hand with a stone. The Stone of Y'ffre flew into the darkness of the forest as Malius screamed in agony and pain. The stone had seemed to vanish from existence but only known by the mage with the crippled hand.
Malius punished Ralius to lose all of his family's wealth in the land. He was imprisoned by Malius under charges of assault against a member of the royal court of Grahtwood. His pregnant wife was forced to live without her love who would take care of their precious child. One morning, Ralius escaped the prison he took his wife and escaped into the forest. Ralius luckily found the hunters expert at the ways of the bow, the Brackenleaf Briars. Then on the second night of their staying Adanis's mother Delfina awoke from a nightmare in sweat shaking uncontrollably. The Hunting elders took her from the sight of Ralius, the elder announced that his beloved why was under a curse set forth by Malius himself. But the curse caused Delfina to Hallucinate and in her claims she saw the elders chanting as a figure none other then myself standing before her the god of the forest, Y'ffre.
With my blessing Adanis was able to continue unfortunately his mother had lost her life in madness. The hunters where well aware of what was next. Malius's mercenaries where on their trail. In the end of Ralius's last moment of life he left his child in the hands of the hunters and stayed behind so that he may have a future.
That night the forest was uneasy as the Briars delivered the whimpering lost baby across sea and in the very moment the storm hit it was as if fate had been twisted so the Mercenaries would not reach the baby Adanis in time. He was delivered to a Altimer's front doorstep named Galius Maltide, (the one who gave Adanis his name). He was the third ranking butler to the King of Auridon, father of now formally Queen Ayrenn. At a young age, Adanis had nothing to do around the butlers quarters but to sneak past the lazy Altimer, Sedil, who was supposed to watch Adanis. One day Adanis slipped past all the guards because he fearful of a night mare and wanted Galius's care. The boy nearly made it when the kings guard caught him brading Ayrenn's hair. The king chuckled as he heard this story and took Galius up on an offer to allow the boy to learn the art of the nightblade, archery and stealth, since he was so skilled as to slip past the guards. So Adanis train and mastered the bow, and the arts of being unseen. Though he may not know his destiny he may find his path...
