My good friend Theole Viduarus,

I regret that I have been unable to respond to your previous letter in a timely manner, but I would like to inform you that I am willing to fulfill your request and deliver your message to your daughter in Skingrad. I shall write to you when I return, and am looking forward to your wife's famous venison stew.

Your friend in blood and glory,
Vengeance of Akatosh

Theole Vidaurus,

I must start by saying I have no knowledge of your daughter's whereabouts, and found no information that she was in any sort of danger. She could be safe in a refugee camp, or even out of the country all together. With this out of the way, I regret to inform you that Skingrad is lost. What remains of it is almost unrecognizable.

I traveled by boat from Valenwood's northern shoreline to the Gold coast, and traveled northeast from there. It became clear almost immediately that something was horribly wrong with the landscape. The stench of Daedric magic permeated the air and I can only assume that this was the work of Molag Bal's Planemeld.

After pushing my steed to her limits, I managed to reach the outskirts of Skingrad, only to find the city in ruins and completely abandoned. It's terrain matched the sickly malaise affecting the rest of the area. I feared for the citizenry, and hurried within to see if I could find any survivors.

I was almost convinced I was in the wrong place, so unrecognizabley mangled were it's once polished cobblestone streets, but upon the tainted ground were letters written in the foulest of Daedric letters, "Skingrad" it said, as if Molag Bal was taunting me with his handiwork.

I searched each building, including the home of your daughter. They were all scoured clean. I am convinced they must have evacuated before the city was completely demolished, since there were no bodies or signs of a fight. I searched the cathedral, but that too, was empty of substance. The light of the Divines had left the shattered confines of the city.

The buildings are still somewhat intact, leading me to believe that once this conflict finally ends, we can rebuild this city to it's former glory once more in little time. Until then, I will continue to search for any clues as to what hapened here, and if any other cities across Cyrodiil or Tamriel are being affected in this way.

I will also send word to my allies in the Fighters Guild to search for your daughter. I am good friends with Merric At-Aswalla, the current Fighters Guild Master, and he will no doubt put my request through immediately. We will find her and return her to you safe as soon as possible. Stay strong, my friend, and defend your holdings with honor. This conflict isn't over yet.

Your friend in blood and glory,

Vengeance of Akatosh
