Been debating how to help some members of the guild that want to level and get dye achievements but did want to sacrifice story plots. What I feel we need are some stories to involve different delves, dungeons and areas, a sort of roaming RP if you would. This would replace some of the duties the progression department took in and give a bit more to the guild members to work with. Only issue I have is how to make some of it repeatable, since certain things like dungeons are 4 man group based and people will likely want to repeat it.
Some thoughts on storylines.
-buried treasure map in a delve, leading to several others. Prize is delivered to attendees for attending the event as a way of "splitting up" the treasure.
- mage guild has sent members out as researchers and guards on a dig site. Reward given to those that find artifacts
- fighter's guild hosts a contract to eliminate somw local beasts from a cave, payment gI've upon contract completion
- shadey dealers are looking for a new smuggler location and need the competition knocked out.
Can the roleplay dept. Work with something like this
