Major Event for Ro'johns story line

I got an idea for a major event to happen for Ro'john that will have an effect on his story and of course the guild!

IDEA

at some point an time a Dominion messenger arrives in the guilds town to deliver Ro'john a letter from his old commander. the letter states that one of the dominion generals on the west side of cryodill spread his forces too thin and a massive detachment of daggerfall covenant soldiers has made it through the defensive line and is rapidly advancing through dominion territory! hearing the news Ro'john rushes off to find the guild leader and inform her of the impending threat. Ro'john will request additional forces from the dominion which they comply and send forces to station a camp close by and assist if the town where to come under attack from the daggerfall troops.

HOW THE STORY EFFECTS Ro'john

this battle will finalize Ro'johns decision to return to active duty in the dominion army telling them that he will stay with the guild and continue to serve as a guard and defender of the guild.

NEEDS

a lot of participants if possible would love for other guild members to be involved as Ro'john wants to feel accepted and known in the guild. with others willing to stand with him and the brothers and arms he served with for 5 years would soild those feelings molding Ro'john into a better person knowing he is accepted and known.

the idea will need at least 25 people but will take more 2 moderators 10 townsfolk 10 daggerfall troops and 3 aldmeri dominion NPC's if interested please mail me at @fireguy746 in game thanks

I like the idea, however I do want to say that we've recently been doing a lot of this sort of all-guild involved story with a lot of fighting and conflict. Currently (at least as far as I know) the main guild story is that a festival is being planned to celebrate the fields being sown. This story was devised to take a break from our usual "everyone grab a weapon and fight" plots.

I definitely think this has the potential of even being a guild plot line with the scale you have in mind, as long as there is careful plotting in planning. I do think though that this may need to wait a bit until we've done the festival, just so there's no plotline conflicts. Hard to have a festival when there's DC troops headed for Sren'ja, haha.

If I've misunderstood your plotline, please let me know.
Also if any others who read this (especially other RP officers) have grievances with my opinion, feel free to let me know.

oh yes I am in the process of doing "lead ups" with certain characters and I still gathering / planning it if theres something else going on I don't want to interrupt it so I shall wait til after the festival and hey big armies move slow :P if you want to be involved in the lead ups please all are welcome to get involved so far elros and battlecat are so if you wanna get in on it ill be returning sunday night check the story line journal I have to get updated

I can make an disposable character if you guys need, or I can use Dar'Ranju as a snitch. He could be the one giving info about the Dominion to the Daggerfall.

We should discuss this idea more, but I really like it. Maybe even gonna check out Daggerfall rp guilds to see if they dont wanna rp-pvp with us. Would that be a good idea?

That would fit and could be a very cool event as long as we find a location in a campaign to do it and hope for no trolls. If you need further help Ro'John I can help (@Ice_Eye).

it involved defending the guild town sren a pvp zone would be nuts, real dc troops arrive oh snap! :P

My character would be more of a background character if needed, but her role is more of a contract sellsword, not quite a an assasin (too uppity to deal with the brotherhood's contracts), not quite fighter's guild (who would give her crap about the vampirism and aren't involved with the war). I can see what I can do to help though.

I was thinking, I could make npcs for you guys to kill. We could involve dro'jhala in this and have her be hiding with the ones that not fight, like, leading them to safety in the caves/sewer until the fight is done, if Ice eye would be ok with it

that would been awesome ill add it to the list and all

even with this SSC stuff going on im gonna try and still do the event so still looking for folks!
