Drakenkin

Name derives from two root words:

Drake- Dragon; plus Kin- relation. His name strongly indicates that he might be authentic Dragonborne, but this again, is only speculation.

Little is known of this enigmatic individual. He has ties with the Dark Brotherhood, the Mages guild, the Fighters guild, the powerful Breton League of Merchant Lords and, reportedly, even with High King Emeric himself and members of his Royal Cabinet.

His facial tattoos designate his status as an enforcer of the highest order for the Most powerful clan in High Rock... The Direnni... now operating largely as an underground esoteric and secretive society- striving to maintain Breton interests in the best possible position to capitalize upon the complexities of the Daggerfall Covenant and the War in general.

As a result of his affiliations and the secrecy and discretion required of a man in his profession his last name is kept secret to protect his kinsmen and therefore is not known to any but the most connected and politically powerful in all of Tamriel.

Over the years he has assembled a tight “Band of Brothers.” The members of this brotherhood are said to consist of eight persons, however, at this point only four are known- Himself as the eldest and leader, Ghorbash Headcarrier, his Orcish companion and bodygaurd and second in command, Krag Belewulffe, and Jo' Ra Baalzebul, a youg kahjitti wizard.

Continued-

Compact, wirey and hard as nails, it is known that Drakenkin has a softer, romantic side. Many a damzel would call him a 'Warrior- Poet'. On those rare occasions where Drakenkin takes some time off, he might be found in a Tavern reciting dramatic prose or poetry to a small group of enthralled listeners. He sings, and has authored more than one ballad of some repute... (you may be familiar with "Dragons, Drakenkin or Drunkeness", or "Highrock Hiatus" in B minor- among others). If asked, he will play the drums, the lute and occasionally the flute with a very high degree of prowess.

While a pretty face is his weakness, he is just as apt to fight as dance... well maybe a little more apt to fight. But he loves to lavish some of his hard earned wealth on this one or that, and sometimes everyone in the Tavern at once. If he is so moved, the sky is the limit as to what he will do for you. But get on his bad side, and he is equally as passionate and driven to punish or end you.

Many of his cohorts in his 'Band of Brothers' were street and back-alley rescues. Individuals either helpless or down on their luck, and Drakenkin, seeing something worthwhile or worthy, undertaking on their behalf. So great an impact on their lives, so incredibly thankful, and loyal as a result of him believing in them, and raising them up to a very high status... there is not one of the eight that would not readily give their very lives in his cause... or his defense.

On a personal note- Drakenkin crafts medium armor for both the sheer love of it and for outlandish profit. He is also an adept blacksmith, which as a dual wielder, comes in handy in order to craft his own weapons. He was reportedly an Orphan himself, raised by Dragon Priests-hence his name- and was from a very young age a bright, willing and most curious pupil of whatever he was studying.

Red- blood red is said to be his favorite color and this is often reflected in the armor he creates. He loves fine cuisine, and is a level 50 chef and well known in the Breton Culinary guild. He keeps a farm back in High Rock, and has several rare horses from all around Tamriel. Sadly, he doesn't make it back there near often enough these days... but when the war is over he certainly intends to.

He has been commissioned to spend some time with a new guild called the 'Blue Skooma' because it is believed that a very high ranking defector and spy is hiding out among its roster. He will be getting to know every member he can in his effort to determine just who this person of interest is, and what their intentions and activities are.
