An awful lot of people think she's a bit prejudice after hearing her speak for the first time. She has the tendency to pepper in Khajiit verbiage (occasionally referring to herself as "this one," using Khajiit turn of phrase on the regular, etc) and it will sometimes come across as mocking.
Background
A name isn't really worth much when your parents aren't the ones who gave it to you. At least, that's what the elder of the caravan told her. When they found her, there wasn't much left in her little wooden noggin. Not a family, not a surname. No solid memory to be had. At the time the only thing on this little one's mind was the grotesque amount of burnt skin she was sloughing off her right half and the pain left behind. It left her sensitive to the salty ocean breezes and made her hiss and whimper whenever she was touched. Though as the aforementioned elder told her: Pain is only ever temporary, healing and death are the only absolutes.
(Please bear in mind that this is still something of a WIP. I have an idea of what I'd like to achieve with this character, but I intend on building her up after having a chance to interact and build relationships with other characters)
This one is the sole survivor of the fire that stole her people. She claims to have no memory of the incident or her life before. Phyriel is the name she was given by the Khajiit that took her in--or rather, it's the one she uses the most. At a young age, she was introduced to skooma and moon sugar. She was taught the uses, the dangers, and witnessed both the good and the bad without ever having to experience it first hand. She always suspected the caravan took her in with the intent of training her to peddle. With the everlasting racism against the Khajiit thriving in the Dominion, it's just a little easier for a small Bosmer to slip between the cracks to make the pass. She knows this, her "family" knew this--and she's good at it.
Despite the recent murder of her surrogate family, Phyriel has continued the trade. She operates as a freelance dealer who will sell for and to whoever pays the most.
