The Institute
This building is the building that the S'ren-ja Institute of the Arcane operates out of, in the top floor. It can be haunted at times due to certain mages' experiments, though do not fear, no harm will come to you. Complete with a secret room, currently used as the "Cold Room", this is the place to go to convene with scholars and brush up on your magick. In the second floor, the Archmage has set up a bulletin board where all the important messages go to. In this board members can also find jobs which they can do and get payment for. The Institute will take a cut of 15% of all the payment for this jobs in order to maintain itself and pay the Professors and Researchers.
Guidelines:
- When disagreeing between members happens regarding the Mage Faction structure, the discussion should be brought to the forums, and made a vote about the issue with all the members of the mages. Unless it can be resolved quickly among said members.
- To be promoted in the faction:
Paid jobs: To be promoted to those you have to approach Gata ic and ask her about it. She will then see your availability and the school your character is in (healing, daedric, etc).
Non paid jobs: To be promoted to one of those you have to approach Gata ic and ask her to do a proficiency exam. A dice will be rolled to see if you get the title if it cannot be decided ooc.
A reminder that it makes no sense for Gata to promote people that she's never met and/or are not active in the faction and/or is not active in S'ren-ja. (*)
- All members of this faction have equal vote weights/rights. (*)
- Always use the new secret entrance when Adventurer's members are in the building as to not disrupt their activities. (New rp entrance, just go through the front door and state you are using the secret institute entrance) (*)
- All members are welcomed to post issues that they want to see discussed or attended in the RP forums. Those post should have a "Institute BB" label to them. Important messages regarding said faction are to be done in the same manner <3

(*) Both rules are subject to change if the leadership in the faction shifts.
IC Rules: (**)
1. Do not discuss the institutes's business with non-members,
2. Always be respectful towards other members.
3. Do not take jobs from the bulletin board if you cannot see them through.
4. You are responsible for your own actions and choices.
5. We protect our own.
6. our objective is better serve and improve the city of S'ren-ja. Every action of the Institute is for the betterment of S'ren-ja.
7. Every researcher must submit a tome on their subject of choice at the end of every year.
8. The Institute will provide 750 gold coins monthly to the researcher for as long as they follow the institute's rules.
9. Professors must treat their apprentices with respect and so the Apprentices must be respectful to the Professors.
10. All professors are welcome to submit tomes by the end of each ear. This submission will grant them a bonus of 750 gold coins.
11. Professors will receive 1.5k gold per month, as long as they teach at least one apprentice through out the month and that they present to the Institute their class progress.
Current salaries (subject to change once the faction gets more jobs/members):
Professors: 1.5k/month .
Researchers: 750g/month.
