promoting the guild on other sites

Well we've had a lot change in the last few weeks, if not months, and I think we should update some of the websites with our guild info.

This includes the TESORP site, that acts like a hubs for a lot of guilds. Rasari put something back in july

The main ESO forums where most guilds advertise as well. The post made was back at the game's release, time for an update

A Reddit thread, where there was a posting out there 6 months ago.

I believe Gata should be the one to post the updates on these threads, being the new guildmaster, however it should be a prepared statement we make back here, so the English doesn't sound off. Also, we should consider what we want to advertise. Some ideas are:

- live auction still held every saturday at 10pm EST
- Gata is the new guild master
- updates on the process to sign up.
- our guild RP has expanded beyond a single clan mother to include soldiers/mercs/sellsword, mages, adventurers, guards, merchants, and a civilian group
- all races and supernatural welcome (vampire and werewolf friendly)
- town events
-fishing exhibitions
- festivals
- 50/50 raffle
- guild store
- rp in AD sarinja
-TeamSpeak with friendly members
- expanding adventure faction to do your dungeons/delves with IC.

Some better than I can word smith this better, but let's discuss

Blue Skooma Roleplayers is a large and organized Roleplay Guild that aims to provide a place for any type of character to tell their story. We have hundreds of helpful & experienced members, awesome Roleplay storylines, busy forums, and ESO's first and only weekly auction.

Roleplay
We do our best to ensure that Blue Skooma Roleplayers offers fluid roleplay. Fluid roleplay is non-scripted story arcs that allow every member to have an impact on how things play out. We want our guild to be a home for any type of character you can come up with, so we offer a lot in the way of titles, settings, and events to distinguish your character.
We provide Guild Roleplaying events that alter the Guild Storyline, those story-arcs are determined by a group of RP Officers, but the outcomes are always defined as the event goes. We want you all to have a part on the outcome of those events and allow the characters freedom to act as they want, as long as the rules of conduct are observed.

Leadership
Our Guild Leader and the Officer Team work to maintain a positive environment and keep the drama where it belongs: in roleplay. They review applications, organize events and try to take care of the everyday work required of a major guild. You can also count on the weekly newsletter to keep you informed of In-Character and Out-Of-Character developments. All of our ranks are strictly OOC to promote a fluid roleplay environment.

Events this section was completely redone from the main site which is heavily outdated
BSR offefrs an evolving guild story twice a week, along side other events such as contests, lotteries, and the lucrative weekly live auction. Members themselves are also free to (and encouraged) to add other members into their story ideas.

Auction Advertisement Rough Draft

The Auction
Hey everyone, I am @Elridge in game, a senior officer of the guild Blue Skooma Roleplayers. We would like to extend an invitation to our weekly live auctions held every Saturday in the Merchants' Plaza of Marbruk, Greenshade at 7pm PST. We auction different assortment of items every week, while giving out prizes throughout the event.


Soul Raffle
We also do what we call the 50/50 Soul Raffle, previously exclusive to guild members. That is now completely open to the public

What is a 50/50 Raffle?
What we do is we charge 500 gold for a ticket, 250 gold goes towards the guild coffers and 250 gold goes into the jackpot. We do this throughout the week and announce the winner at the auction. there is also a runner up prize of assorted items that vary every week.

Anook

We also have a forum on Anook (its like a facebook for gamers), that I was planning to use for a collection of short stories from members of the guild. Maybe once they complete a journal or something to send it over there.

Just to comment on the 50/50 raffle, you said testing however there is not testing. It is completely open to everyone. Just wanted to mention that.

I was looking for any input on the Official ESO Forums thread write up I had, see if anyone wanted to add to any of it. But if it looks ok to everyone, then we can go ahead and send it out to the forums.

Maybe we need a separate post on the auction as well under general to advertise it. If we get members ready to forum bomb it with likes snd replies as well it may help it ruse to the top

I was thinking the same thing, and have that being worked on, a rough draft is right under the ESO official thread rough draft in this thread. I just haven't done a pamphlet for it yet. I put a label on it so it's easier to spot

I will be making a separate thread for each one in the officer section, to keep up with whats going on there.
