Rumors: Sweet and kind, usually always willing to have a pleasant conversation. She seems reserved and hesitant to give up much information of her past. She also seems fairly hesitant, fearful, and anxious in the face of danger, whether it be walking alone at night, or being in the same room as a vampire.

Arnora Valorius - Backstory

Born in the Imperial City, Arnora was educated and learned restoration magick at the temple of Akatosh. There she grew as a scholar, not only quickly becoming adept in manipulating light and fire, but also learning from her father the mercantile trade.

When she was about 13, she, along with her family, was ousted of her home due to the war. Many of their riches were ransacked by looters taking advantage of the chaos that the war had brought. Her young life as a daughter of a rather wealthy nobleman was reduced to wandering and depending on the kindness of others.

One day, her and her 7 year old sister, Ariela — her only sibling — were separated from their parents as a gang of bandits happened upon them on the side of the road. Seeing them wearing lavish clothing, the only clothing the had left, the bandits attacked them in an attempt to take what little possessions they had. Her parents fought them off while they told their children to run. They obeyed.

Left on their own they continued their new nomadic lifestyle and matured faster than any children should have to. The young Arnora traveled with her even younger sister living off the kindness of others while Arnora used her mercantile ability to scrape up some coin. Eventually some began to know her as a trained healer and would pay her for her healing services.

They continued to live as they very slowly accumulated coin. However, Ariela mysteriously fell ill one night after she had wandered into a forest alone. Arnora tried all she could to heal her, though it seemed nothing worked. Ariela became pale and fragile and eventually one day, Arnora discovered her sister's body was gone from her bed and realized that Ariela had passed on with her body removed by the kind folk who were letting the siblings stay the night (or so, Arnora thinks — Arnora was too young at the time to realize that her sister was turning into a vampire). She now always wears the ribbon her sister did in her own braid.

Arnora never saw her sister again, and continued living the life of a traveling merchant and occasional healer. Now, 5 years after he sister's disappearance and her continued nomadic life, her trade has brought her into Sren'ja.
