Ardalda Laefire's Healing Tome

After some time away from the clan house, I returned for rest after one of my adventures, it was great to see my friends again.

The moment I walked through the door, Laltris showed me an ancient Ayleid tome she had discovered - at first I was cautious, given the Daedric influence in many Ayleid practices, but eventually she showed me that the tome had many practical applications, specifically in the field of restoration.

Laltris demonstrated this by opening a portal to Aetherius, she pulled out a stone and proceeded to show those present that it could be used to heal wounds when used correctly - this was an amazing discovery, and one that I feel will help me deepen my understanding of restoration.

It will take some time before I can open the portal myself, but I have become open to the idea of further studying the Ayleids in order to unlock more of their ancient secrets.

Today Mara called and a sense of dread washed over me, I knew there was something wrong in Sren'ja.

When I arrived, Nelliel was barely alive and in desperate need of healing - it took a number of people and a lot of work, but we finally managed to put her back together and restore her breath.

It was the best feeling when she regained consciousness; after feeding her a stew of onion, jus and scamp skin, along with Ali's potion for the pain, she seemed to be feeling better.

Overall, I feel good about the outcome; I pray that Mara will continue to keep her watchful eye on Nelliel and aid with the healing process.
