Valencia Hollowstone is an average-sized Bosmer with tan skin, brown hair, and eyes the color of ice. She had small antlers protruding from her forehead, which she takes great pride in. She also wears paint over her body and face to more so celebrate the Bosmer culture than to serve as camoflauge. She usually wears a medium or light armor, if not a combination of both. It is often dyed green, because that is her favorite color. She is often seen wearing a necklace that is little more than twine with a few wooden beads and various animal teeth on it.
Personality:
Hollowstone is a proud, but naive, individual that is down on her luck. She seeks to bring honor to her family name, which is a powerful motivator for her and has a large influence on her actions. Not one to ask for help, she is often ashamed of failure and the inability to accomplish everything alone. However, this isn't to say she hates people, in fact she is a rather personable individual that enjoys company and likes to have fun. Although, recent events have caused her to be more suspicious and wary of trusting people, which might not be a bad things given she use to be very gullible. She is very hardworking and dedicated, but she knows her limits and isn't afraid to quit if she is in over her head, yet she often feels guilt when she gives up.
Background:
Valencia Hollowstone grew-up in a small, nomadic settlement that eventually settled in Northern Valenwood south of the City of Dune. She is the oldest of Naarin and Ronar Hollowstone's three children. The two younger children consist of a set of twins named Vallinin and Thaelin. They lived in near-destitution, making their living selling potions and meals to people traveling through Reaper's March. Valencia discovered her love of magic early on but had no time to study or practice magic due to the necessity of Valencia to work with her parents in order to be able to feed themselves.
When she could, Valencia stored away some of the profit she made in order to earn enough to travel to Auridon to study at the College of Aldmeri Propriety. When she finally arrived at the college, it was nothing like Valencia imagined it would be, due to the Altmer instructor discriminating and mistreating the Bosmer and Khajiiti students by beating them and withholding meals from them. She missed home more and more every day, but a few weeks into her studies at the college word reached the college that her settlement had been raided. This made Valencia want to return home even more. However, she needed to be here, so she could learn powerful magic, in order to protect and provide for her family. There was also the fact that she didn't have enough money to return home, even if she wanted to.
A little over a month into her training at the college, Valencia realized that if she stayed at the college any longer, she wasn't going to make it out alive. With no word from her family since receiving word of the raid, Valencia planned her escape from the college. One day after a particularly brutal beating and a few days without food or water, she made her escape into the woods. She made it to the road and traveled as far as she could until she collapsed from exhaustion. She was found by a Bosmer woman that goes by the name of El.
She aspires to make it back to Reaper's March in order search for her parents, brother, and sister. However, she is stuck in Auridon until she can raise enough money for passage off the island. She has started to pick-up odd jobs all over the land in order to fund her trip back home. It also wouldn't disappoint her if she were to improve her skills as a sorcerer along the way.
Rumors:
-She doesn't follow the Green Pact.
-Her brother attacked the settlement after he was turned into a werewolf.
