Active Members?

Hi,

Do we have or want an activity requirement for guild members? Active members are obviously desired, but if we kick anyone who hasn't logged in within the last two months we'll lose more than half our members. Thoughts?

In my opinion if we don't "need" the space, we may as well keep them in. We have had members come back after a couple months. Especially recently we have had a few members come back after a long hiatus.

With that in mind I'd like to suggest the following:

1. We get all guild members to recruit--devise incentives, prizes for most recruited. I'm willing to donate gold and items. (where are with with the "prize bank"?)
2. We agree on a schedule for removing inactives, I'd suggest small batches removed over a specified period--unless of course our members are wildly successful with their recruiting efforts.
3. Roster officers can purge inactives in small batches during times when less members are on--I can say from experience that it's disconcerting to see huge numbers of members "leaving" a guild.

Again, thoughts?

1) I like that idea and would be willing to donate as well

2/3) I would agree, it is best to do it in small batches, wiping out half the guild in a short time (even if they are inactive) isn't a pretty sight to see

I agree with Ri'Zharim. We can start the process but it should be done over time, starting first the inactive members at 6 and slowly getting them all.

Also agree, we need to remove them slowly and on odd hours with lesser members on. We an do it in any period of time until we actually need the space in the roster <3

Also we have had the activity thing of 1 month and then you will be kicked somewhere in our rules I think, maybe change to two months?
