Marxalito was born in 2E 553 in Dune to Jo’Agricola (scholar/farmer) and Ri’Amicum (leader/friend). Marxalito was the only child of Jo’ and Ri’.
Ri’ was a mid-level bureaucrat in the Mane and Jo’ was independent scholar of late Ayleid period, specifically the cultural transformation brought on by the Alessian Order. Jo’s work often meant that he was away from home for long stretches of time. Growing up Marxalito was in trouble with the Mane, putting great stress on Ri’ and her relationship with Marxalito’ With Jo’ often gone doing research and Ri’ seemingly picking career over family, Marx joined a skooma gang.
On 2E 568 of the third Morndas of the second seed, one of Jo’s colleagues returned to Dune with news of Jo’s disappearance in an Ayleid ruin. Due to Ri’s position in the Mane she was able to form a search party. However, after several months there was still no sign of Jo’. Meanwhile Marxalito was starting to grow tired with the skooma gang. At first it was a lot of fun, but he was able to see up close the pain skooma use created. Do’Dolor (Warrior Pain), the skooma gang leader saw the disillusionment in Marxalito’s eyes and knew he had to make an example of him so others would not leave the gang. On 2E 569 of the first Fredas of the Evening Star Marxalito was visited by a vague specter that spoke of a great danger about to befall him. Just then there was a knock at the door. Marxalito could hear Do’Dolor’s voice on the other side of the door. The specter vanished and Marx was alone again. He snuck out the back window and ran throughout the night. At dawn the specter appeared to Marx again this time it was clearer and Marx recognized it has Jo’Agricola, his father. Jo’ spoke of finding an Ayleid artifact that had trapped him in between several Ayleid ruins, where he is constantly shifting between ruin. Marx promised to Jo’ that he would free him from this artifact.
Marx has been on the road for 15 years searching for his father. Not quiet as smart as Jo’ and nowhere near as diplomatic as Ri. s time passed he became discouraged and is known for picking fights, which means he is often in trouble with the Aldmeri Dominion and local authorities. He is also known for his bravery, even if sometimes his actions seem ill conceived. Marxalito is also not too good with money, but what he does have he is always generous. When it comes to romantic relationships Marxalito's quest to save his father keeps him from settling down. This does not stop him from pursuing intense, yet meaningless relationships.
