"Greetings! 'Tis your captain speaking, missere Alijham Quincae Arborem. I apologize for my constant absence--I have been experiencing a number of personal issues I have taken a leave to sort out. I will be returning very shortly, and I have many new, wonderful things to enforce with current and future guards. As you know, Nelliel has been in my place for the past couple of weeks while I am dealing with my own issues. Please give her your best wishes and thanks for her great commitment for all of us.
Anyways, to the next point, there are going to be a number of moral rules all guards are to follow. If they are not followed, there will be one warning, and then a revoking of their tabard until further notice. These rules will be the following:
1.) No guard under any circumstance will harm anyone. Criminal or not, they will be taken into custody without violence.
2.) No guard is to speak to a citizen like a lower or lay hands on them. All guards wills refer to citizens as "Miss" and "Sir" if their names are not known.
3.) No citizen will be arrested for suspicion. It must be an educated suspicion based on facts and evidence for them to be put into the cells for it. If a citizen is suspected for a particular reason, but there are doubts, they will be put on parole until all suspicion is cleared--not in the cells.
4.) Guards will refer to the higher guardsmen and clan alphas as "Sir" and "Miss" at all times on duty, no matter how well you may know them. It reflects immaturity and disrespect to call me "Ali" on duty.
5.) All guardsmen must wear their tabards on duty, or they will not be payed for their time. You must wear your tabard so I know that you are doing your job--that is what they are for.
Thusfar, this is all I have to account as rulings for the guardsmen. There will be more added with time, so check up, check up, check up!
