Officer meeting notes for December 02 2014

- Faction rosters and rolespecific tags. Does every faction wants/needs them?
- Tags for council members. Makes it easier to organize, but can be put down if desired.
- Recruiting RP and Scribe officers.
- Next storyline: will it be the ayleid mummy? or do you guys wish to do something else?
- Screenshot/caption contest winner and theme for next contest will be decided Friday, after/during the event.
- RP Map on the TESO-RP forums. Who are our neighboors and possible areas for us to use as residences.

- Member of the week. Will we decide it ourselves or let the other members decide?
Pros of letting the members decide: it will be their choice/it takes of a weight out of our shoulders
Cons: it can be turned into a popularity contest/not enough members pay attention to the forums to vote
- Promoting important issues that are discussed in the forums.

- Future of IC Guild.

Faction leadership and guild activity. I think faction leadership should be preferred to be given to active members. It's hard to make events and have the leaders not present. Even online in game, but not at the events, and all. I dont mean to force anyone, and think they should chose what they want and be free for it. However we can't really plan a storyline that would be let's say, mage related and have Gata to be offline for all the events, or online but doing something else, or have her drop the event in the middle of it every single time. I know it's too much, and this is all a game and shouldn't be taken seriously, but at least the council members should live in S'ren-ja ic or at least around the city and should be there for the events. At least once a week. It looks really bad for the factions and the city to have it's councilmen and women not give a crap. We should fix this or come up with a new structure for the guild ic, because this is not working if the council is never there. Sorry. I don't know. I am sorry, I don't mean to offend or upset anyone with this

maybe we can create a council meeting thread in the forums, however it would have to be concluded every week and the subject renewed weekly.

I might not be at the officer's meeting. It depends on how i feel after getting out of class at 9PM...as usual if i do ome tonight, I will be there late.

Id just like to bring up one sort of thing, In my opinion the rp events should be more 'organized' by the rp department, what I mean with that is that it is their task to make sure one person is available on every rp event night to lead the storyline (at least OOC). What I have been noticing is that is has been pretty much me and gata making sure the events are done for the last couple times. While I understand that people cant always make it every time, there should always be one person (not necessarily of the rp dept) who can run the event. Ideally this should be cleared up a day ahead of the event.
(Now discussion time to happen during meeting)

Just a suggestion that I think would help the organization of events and make sure that there would never be a problem where an event should be happening but noone is there to run it.

And I've been in final projects for the last 3 weeks. I haven't had a whole lot of time to dedicate as of late.
