Philosophy of life
Justified killing is an honorable action yet all life even undeath is precious and the more precious the more value in stealing the soul (killing) to honor Boethia
Deadra are the true gods, but only a few are worthy of remaining Daedra. Azura, Boethia to name two. The rest should bow to Boethia and Azura should be second to Boethia.
Honor and tradition following the typical Ashlander description found here:

Aphya Tesai : Ashlander (Ash-Dunmer / Dunmer / Velothi) Vampire, Ash-Vampire

Cover Story

Aphya relates the following tale to many whom ask, intelligent enough to placate an understanding that these outsiders likely have no idea about The Ashlander way of life.
She was born to a Nomadic tribe of Dunmer, called Ashlanders or Ash-Dunmer, or Velothi. Specifically she is from the Mabrigash Tribe found in Deshan, The Vale of The Ghost Snake (In game content). They are considered outsiders by the more common ‘city dunmer’ whom have a much darker complexion. Hearing stories within her tribe about the Exodus from Altmer and how the Dunmer came to Morrowind always intrigued her. After the Dunmer arrived in Morrowind, following Veloth they had discovered Dwemer, another offshoot race of Altmer, had already settled the lands. In time the Dunmer split in to different factions, predominately the Ashlanders whom practiced the ‘original’ religions and culture, and the new Dunmer whom took up in cities and had a spiritual awakening leading them to another pantheon made up from mortals whom used artifacts to appear ‘godlike’.
Aphya was curious, thus she set out from her tribe to explore and seek out city dwellers. This eventually led her to The Tribunal, the new religious order and part of Dunmer culture. Though many of these ‘new’ Dunmer shunned her, a few saw an opportunity to educate this Ashlander and teach her the ‘proper’ ways of her people.
As she spent more time within the cities of Morrowind her curiosity shifted to an interest about the origins of the Dunmer, or what they were previously called before Azura ‘changed’ them, the Chimers. This has led her to The Aldmeri Dominion, the birth place of Dunmer prior to The Exodus to seek out lore and knowledge.
“I am not undead, I’m Ashlander…of the original race of Dunmer before we took to the cities. There are many Ashlander in Morrowind, though few travel beyond our homeland.”

Real Story

Much of her cover story is true and accurate. Aphya was born to the Ashalnder Mabrigash tribe, and grew up within this Ashalnder tribe. She did become curious of the city dwelling Dunmer and did venture to the cities. Several Dunmer shunned her as an outsider, a few took interest to her and attempted to teach her the ‘proper’ ways of Dunmer.
Aphya was part of a Tribunal church, and had worked her way up the ranks to have been a ‘undead hunter.’ Among the Dunmer is where she learned of the Spiritual Awakening. It was during this time of her life where she slowly began to understand how the Dunmer were worshipping false gods, had turned their back on Veloth’s original teachings and even shunned Azura whom had given them birth from Altmer to Dunmer. To Aphya this was certainly an atrocity having grown up as an Ashlander. However, she knew that to oppose such a large ‘cult’ of sacrilegious zealots would be foolish and instead bided her time, continuing in the practice of Boethia to be wily and pretend to conform and learn. It would only be a matter of time and Boethia would see her time come.
She left the Dunmer to return back to her Ashlander Tribe whom had settled at The Vale of The Ghost Snake, Deshan. Within her tribe Aphya had been one of the Warrior-Priestess responsible for protecting the Wise Women of her clan. In this and in accordance with Boethia she was trained in the art of bow and swords.
During her journey to return home she had to travel through the Ashlands. Where upon a group of Vampires sought their next meal and met an astoundingly quick death. Such creatures were not unfamiliar to the Ashlanders among others of far greater danger. It is commonly known among those of Morrowind that this region is often in conflict, as many groups, even Vampire Covens vie for power and a foothold within the area.
Aphya had not realized that she was in an area where a Vampire Lord had taken over, and sought shelter for an eve before continuing on. The Lord of this region heard of one Ashlander whom had disposed of some of his covenant, rather than seek her destruction the wise Lord sought her audience. Such a capable warrior would indeed be a greater ally than a foe.
It did not take much convincing between the pair to form the blood union. The Lord offered strength and eternal life, and Aphya offered an accordance of death to many. She despised the Dunmer in their cities, having learned of the Imperial and the Nord invasions she grew in temper to wish these races removed from Tameriel as well. This intrigued the Lord enough to welcome her in to his coven, if for no other reason than her hatred of The Tribunal that constantly sought to rid Morrowind of his kind.
(The rest of this story is only told via RP, in time she killed the Vampire Lord and had its coven eradicated through plots and schemes)
Upon reaching her clan she was met with welcome and added back in to the normal clan fold and daily life. It was a few short years thereafter that Aphya went on pilgrimage to explore and ascertain the true origins of the Chimers, or ‘old Dunmer’ with the blessings of her clan and Wise Women.
The rest of her tales regarding Morrowind are for stories told about the campfire.
At present Aphya has traveled to The Aldmeri Dominion for many reasons; seeking knowledge of the Altmer and the Chimers who followed Veloth during The Exodus. She supports the Altmer Queen in her desire for the throne, seeing that the origin of her people is a much better choice than those whom sought only to conquer and exploit her Morrowind home. In the end, the desire to unite one edge of the world to Morrowind, namely the Ashlanders would serve to see the traitorous Dunmer put to an end once and for all. (Keep in mind the era presently is 2E 583, and what will come in 4E regarding Morrowind)

=Psychosis=
This is a fairly detailed explanation of psychosis and how it applies to Aphya. Keep in mind, that I am a role player and my intent is to keep things interesting, entertaining, and fun for everyone. That will always come before my RP Actions.

Psychosis - The Mind of Aphya
Cause visiting Coldharbor and Oblivion

(First and foremost, it's just a character I RP and in no regards is even close to my own RL personality. I chose this for this character to present a challenge and some fun)

Each aspect listed below can be evident via RP, though often subtle. There is one thing assured, if left alone without interaction with people, Aphya moves through stages up to Catatonia.

Illusions and Manifestations she believes are real and even interacts with when left alone for a period of time.
Hallucinations inspired by Illusions, where she will eventually come to think she's seeing Nord attackers, or Dunmer worshiping false gods. This triggers an aggressive state where she will likely kill anything moving...in her reality at this stage most anything moving is an enemy of some form. The hallucination aspect is that she 'knows' she can kill an entire race, and even aspires to kill at least three supposed gods. This is her belief and she cannot be turned from it.
Delusions of religion. Aphya believes Boethia is the only true god and even other Daedra are simply mechanizations of Boethia's will. Aedra or the 8 (9) Divines are simply false gods worshiped by mortal idiots along with the 3 False Dunmer Gods of the new religion. It is her belief the leaders of these groups must perish for they have misled 'the people'. Thereafter these 'gods' must perish. The people on the other hand just need to be educated to the whims of Boethia. Often this (to Aphya) is what occurs in physical conflict, The People are merely acting under Boethia's whim to worship the Daedra and to understand Beothia's teachings. Often this will lead to 'the other' persons death that has entertained Aphya in such religious 'song' to Boethia. And then they just turn in to pretty flowers, because Boethia is kind like that.
If left long enough she will become catatonic. To herself she has ascended to the bosom of Boethia and is actually a 'demi-god' in service to Boethia. To Aphya she is moving, she is worshipped, she interacts...but the reality is she is in a state of Catatonic Psychosis and quite possibly will not recover.

Another possibility is she enters an 'outward' display of Catatonic Psychosis mixed with Delusion, Hallucination, and Illusion. If this occurs others would like describe her as being a Feral Vampire. In Aphya's reality however, she is battling the enemies of Boethia (Delusional) and all living beings see shes are divine enemies like Arkay Priests, Nord, Dunmer of false gods, perhaps even just many reincarnations of Vivec. Either way to others she would appear Feral Vampire, but in her mind she's just fighting the 'good' battle.

Psychosis Personality Trait
(from the Greek ψυχή psyche, "mind/soul", and -ωσις -osis, "abnormal condition or derangement") refers to an abnormal condition of the mind, and is a generic psychiatric term for a mental state often described as involving a "loss of contact with reality".

Hallucinations
A hallucination is defined as sensory perception in the absence of external stimuli. Hallucinations are different from illusions, or perceptual distortions, which are the misperception of external stimuli.[12] Hallucinations may occur in any of the five senses and take on almost any form, which may include simple sensations (such as lights, colors, tastes, and smells) to experiences such as seeing and interacting with fully formed animals and people, hearing voices, and having complex tactile sensations.

Delusions
Psychosis may involve delusional beliefs, some of which are paranoid in nature. Put simply, delusions are false beliefs that a person holds on to, without adequate evidence.

Catatonia
Catatonia describes a profoundly agitated state in which the experience of reality is generally considered impaired. There are two primary manifestations of catatonic behavior. The classic presentation is a person who does not move or interact with the world in any way while awake.
The other type of catatonia is more of an outward presentation of the profoundly agitated state described above. It involves excessive and purposeless motor behavior, as well as extreme mental preoccupation that prevents an intact experience of reality. An example is someone walking very fast in circles to the exclusion of anything else with a level of mental preoccupation (meaning not focused on anything relevant to the situation) that was not typical of the person prior to the symptom onset. In both types of catatonia there is generally no reaction to anything that happens outside of them. It is important to distinguish catatonic agitation from severe bipolar mania, although someone could have both.

Thought disorders
Thought disorder describes an underlying disturbance to conscious thought and is classified largely by its effects on speech and writing. Affected persons show loosening of associations, that is, a disconnection and disorganization of the semantic content of speech and writing. In the severe form speech becomes incomprehensible and it is known as "word salad".

Erratic Logic
Exceptions to beliefs and edicts, and further elaboration of Aphya outlook

FRIENDS
If friend then you shall die last, for friends are valuable assets to further ones cause. As reward for friendship death will come and so shall release from this world unto the next. You are welcome my friends. Death is a gift I bestow.

FAMILY (aka very close friends)
If family then they should be blessed. The gift of immortality should be bestowed upon family, the blessed curse of the Vampire. Only family is deserving of such. At the end of days when none remain other than the devout of Boethia, it shall be family whom will give diversity in the bleak world to come. In time family will see Boethia's favor, or they cannot be family, how could they? Family always understands, always forgives, always follow the one true Daedra.

BOETHIA
"Lord of Plots, Deceiver of Nations, Devourer of Trinimac. The Queen of Shadows, Goddess of Destruction, He-Who-Destroys and She-Who-Erases...Many are our lord's lofty names, but they befit only us mortals. Intone her mighty names from now until the end of time - it is for naught. Names mean nothing to our Lord. She cares for those who care for themselves, whose hearts are full of purpose, whose lives are full of deeds."
