Name: Lady Gabriela Shashavani
Age: just turned 118.
Race: Nord, vampire.
Profession: Researcher, philosopher.
Background: Daughter of a Nord general, Gabriela Ripper was born in Skyrim, but never actually stayed there for more than a month. With her father's job and no mother (hers ran away with a Dunmer, the scandal), they moved around a lot, which eventually made the girl give up on new friendships. When Ripper had just turned 18, her father was deployed to Cyrondiil, where they stayed for over a year. There, she met a young breton man and they started fooling around, as it usually happens. Her father didn't approve, but was hardly around to say anything, so Ripper would go farther and farther with the boy, until one day, he asked her to run away and marry him. So in love, it never occurred to her that she might ask why they had to run away, but when it comes to it, it probably wouldn't have changed her will to be with him. The boy was actually a Dominion spy. He was orphaned and taken in by one of the queen's eyes, who had trained him from an early age to mingle with high rank officer's family and deliver them to the dominion forces, who'd in turn eradicate them. But he actually fell for her, and unable to let her die with her father, the breton tried getting her to leave with him. As the couple fled in through a forest nearby, some of the dominion soldiers were waiting for them. They killed the boy right then and there, for treason. Ripper was so scared. She was sure it would be her end, but it wasn't. Suddenly, an astonishingly beautiful man appeared. The man had the most exotic features, but what called out her attention was his pale skin, reflecting the moonlight. And that hair. That beautiful, perfect hair. The girl stood there, watching as the new person killed everyone of the soldiers in a bloody and gore dance, tearing them apart with his bare hands. The man then looked at her and offered his hand. She was curiously unafraid.
The man eventually introduced himself to her, and told her about an Order. He said only the most powerful and influential people were induced, but he said they could make an exception, if she proved worthy. What was in it for her, you ask? Immortality, power to avenge her father. The girl accepted it without hesitation and let the man lead her to this new life.
After a trial period, where they watched her every move, they decided to take her in, but not without reservations. She was supposed to prove herself worthy of the order in her first years, always improving herself. She agreed and was induced in the order.
Ripper then changed her name, to Shashavani. Lady Gabriela Shashavani, she thought it would be very proper to have a new name, since she was taking in a new life.
She spent almost 100 years studying every book in the library, every name of every important person to ever walk on Tamriel. Gabriela Shashavani had now even written a couple of tomes herself, that were held in high regard by the fellow scholars in the Order.
The time passed by and she forgot her revenge, eventually getting mostly curious about what happened. When she was granted leave and asked what she'd do now, the girl requested to go to the Dominion and continue her job as a scholar, always learning new things for the Order, gathering artefacts and tomes whenever she finds any useful.
Now she just arrived Reaper's March. Curious about how the Dominion army is now, if they are still vile and ruthless and also planning on how a Nord can thrive in this foreign land.
This is her past. Her future is yet to come.
