The Officer's Meeting held on Tuesday, December 16th, 2014, at approximately 9:00 P.M. EST was attended by A Gata, Ice-Eye, Daiuin, Goldenboywva, Herfi, Ro'John, Elsynia, Honey Badger, and Elridge. Setting in said meeting was Do'Maadrul.
1. BLUE SKOOMA ROLE PLAYING FACTIONS: The suggested Factions being Mages, Sword & Shield, Guards, and Mercantile was approved via the Website pole. Suggestions were received on how to improve the development of our Factions as follows:
A. Advertise and promote joining and being active in the Factions (Officers agreed and passed);
B. Involvement of Faction story lines into the Role Playing (Officers agreed and passed)
C. Introduce Trial Members to the Factions as soon as possible (Officers agreed and passed). NOTE: Upon approved Motion, the Blue Skooma Application Sheet will be modified to ask new members if they have a Faction preference for their Character and the Website will be made available for any and all suggestions regarding the Factions.
D. Do we need more Factions added primarily for the negative (evil) (underground) Characters such as Werewolves, Vampires, and Daedra worshipers. The Officers voted no. Opinion was to leave it alone and we could revisit the subject of adding Factions if and when any Member partitions the Officers for an expansion.
2. MODIFYING THE BLUE SKOOMA WEBSITE: Discussion was had on the fact that Blue Skooma does not have a Webmaster who is responsible to make changes to the Website at the direction of the Officers. Motion was made and passed that the GuildMaster and All Senior Officers will have the power and authority to make changes to the Website.
3. MEMBER OF THE WEEK. Based upon the nominations received (and all are encouraged to continuing making nominations) the Honorable Elsynia was approved as Member of the Week.
4. SCREENSHOT OF THE WEEK. Upon the entries received, the Honorable Ice-Eye won the screenshot contest this week.
5. CAPTION CONTEST. Upon the entries submitted, the Honorable BloodSniper XI won this week's caption contest.
6. OFFICER'S MEETING NEXT WEEK. Because of the holidays it was discussed whether or not Officer's Meeting dates need to be changed or deleted. Upon Motion and passed, no changes to the Officer's meeting schedule will be made.
7. NEW OPPORTUNITIES. There has been discussions between Role Playing Guilds and the ESO Gods. The Guilds requested a common site for all Guilds to role play in. The ESO Gods were pleased and granted to all Role Playing Guilds the area of Woodhearth (Greenshade) in which to role play. Henceforth, this area will be known as Woodhearth Hub and any Blue Skooma Member may google Woodhearth Hub Events to obtain a complete listing of all events.
NOTE: This is not a Blue Skooma official event and attendance will be within the discretion of individual Members of Blue Skooma. Be on your best behavior, after all this will be the first time many Role Playing Guilds will meet Blue Skooma.
8. ROLE PLAYING 101 EVENT. Plans are in the works for an event called Role Playing 101. It will be a type of recruitment day where Blue Skooma Members will meet, teach and learn to be better role players. Officers will create a new thread for this plans are to have the event after the first of the year. More to come on this subject later. Watch out for the new thread.
9. THANKS FOR YOUR EFFORTS. For those of you who didn't know, our GuildMaster and Auctioneer had a power outage the night of the last Auction. Ice-Eye, Daiuin and several others jumped in and the auction went on as scheduled. Good work and thank you from all of us to all of you. THE SHOW MUST GO ON.
