As the honorable Gata steps down from her position as Guild Master, some of the officers have engaged in a meeting on this day, 1/3/05, regarding the future of this guild. On 1/5/05 we will have two meetings (one at 8PM EST and the other at 11PM EST) to continue the discussion.
Notes of 1/3/05 meeting:
- Discussion was held about the new GM position. Daiuin has agreed to become the interim GM until a suitable candidate is found.
- As you all may have noticed, the auction has undergone a change and it will now be led by Daiuin as the new Auctioneer and Ice-Eye as backup Auctioneer. Items will be sent to both @Daiuin and @Ice_Eye to be submitted to the auction by keeping the items inside the prize bank and documenting on a spreadsheet. Previous auction items still on Gata's account must be recovered and returned to their owners.
- Discussion was held about the complete revamp of the guild. As you all know RP activity has severely diminished in the past months. Certain members are uncomfortable with the pervasive vampire activity that has seemed to dominate the RP and suggestions were made to significantly tone it down. Discussion was also held on bringing back the original Blue Skooma Company with Jo'Zrijhi Taloj as the new company head for both legal and illegal fronts to succeed the previous head Ri'sari. More details about this will be discussed further in Monday's meetings.
- With the decision to bring back the old Blue Skooma Company, we have also discussed redoing or revamping all factions since most of them are inactive. This discussion will continue on Monday's meetings.
- Discussion was held on having events at the RP hub in Woodhearth. More details will be discussed on Monday's meetings.
- The old RP school will be reinstated for our members. Classes will be held twice a month on Wednesdays at 9 PM EST. Those who need additional help may contact one of the mentors for one-on-one help sessions. It will also be a requirement for new and inexperienced members to attend one of the classes. (Those who are veteran and experienced need not attend) Also a suggestion for a small edit to the guild application regarding the person's RP experience in time, to determine whether they should attend the RP school.
- New activity requirements for members of 2 events a month.
- Regarding the guild event on the 4th, the main guild story with Tilano will continue as planned with yours truly to host it. We have missed guild events in the past and we need to get it rolling again. (Sorry Elsy!)
- There was suggestion for a move from S'ren-ja for another location or including more locations for RP, for those who do not always want to RP in the Clanmother's all the time.
- Recruitment will halt temporarily as we all work to revamp the guild as a whole for the entire week of 1/4/05.
- On Wednesday the 7th we will brief active members and have an IC announcement on the changes within the guild.
