So, Sren'ja is our current location. Do we keep it, do we change it? If we do change it, we need to make sure that:
-there is no guild already occupying that area
-it is a place any level AD person can get to via wayshrine, and no quest needs to be done to access it
-it is not heavily populated, and has a place that is somewhat private to be free from trolls
-has multiple buildings and places preferable with one central building

What do you guys think?

Personally, I dislike Sren. I think the change would be good. My vote is for good ol' Woodhearth. There are boats in the dock we could use, as well as a plethora of NPC buildings. It's also where we were stationed before Sren. I've fallen in love with Vulkwasten.

Also, I think that once we gather some places, we should open it up to members for voting. Thoughts?

So currently, we have the following options open. Cons are listed:
Woodhearth (the boat there)
  • Busy town
  • Shared RP space
  • We'd have to follow the map/layout of guilds using that space

Woodhearth Moors town
  • No central communal building (like a tavern)
  • Small
  • Far from Wayshrine

Vulkwasten
  • Seedy/shady characters & company would have to operate out of Tanglehaven, a nearby town
  • Have to take (but not start or complete) a quest outside the main tree to access all parts of it
  • Some people with quests run through

Redfur Trading Post
  • Not many living spaces
  • No real tavern
  • Have to complete a substantial amount of a questline to access underground area

Bramblebreach
  • Small
  • No indoor communal space (like a tavern), but an outdoor dance area
  • Near/part of the major Dominion questline and likely to be busy with quest-ers

Cons:
-no central building/tavern
-kinda small
-far from wayshrine

Vulkwasten
Cons:
-not sure if another guild has it (doesn't look like anyone does)

Another place of interest is Redfur Trading Post in northwest Grahtwood.

Redfur Trading Post: (So far my favorite but I tried being objective in the pros and cons)
Pros:
-Dual culture (Khajiit, Bosmer)
-great market place
-cool underground temple area as well as several temple structures
-Close wayshrine
-Many npcs (making it feel lively)

Cons:
-Not many houses suited for living
-A questline is need to be completed to gain access to the underground for one of the ways (the other still works)
-The tavern is kind of crappy

Listing some pros for Vulkwasten:

Pros:
-Plenty of living space in the giant tree, plus a big brewery and tavern downstairs.
-Mammoths!
-Nearby crafting station (Chancel of Divine Entreaty)
-Nearby ruined Tanglehaven town can be used as base of operations for the company
-Small area in the mammoth paddocks for a prison (We can say the mammoths guard it)
-Fighter's Guild houses if that's to interest to anyone.
-Nice little meeting space for members for events and whatnot.

I thought there was another RP group inside of redfur.

Just to note, with 1.6 there will be an underground outlaw refuge added to several cities. You may want to consider some of these areas since there will be more space for legal activities above and illegal activities below. If you want a tour of areas on PTS through stream let me know

I'll check it out, but there might be one over in Marbruk instead. Most tend to be in one city per zone.

I just hope not too many of the houses are going to be locked and viewed as "trespassing" if we enter. Might be tough to RP in a city full of locked doors lol

Mostly new ones are locked. Lock picking is level based and per person as well

Only two houses in Vulkwasten will be locked, everything else is fine. Even if you don't get caught, if an NPC sees you in there they will call guards.
