Champion System Update!

After listening to feedback, they've made some changes on how the point conversion will be happening when the update goes live. Now higher VR ranks will be awarded for their XP instead of keeping them on par with lower VR ranks.

Better... but still really sucks... Basically I get the full credit for Ri'Zharim at v14 so I get 70 champion points and cap out with just him... my v9 doesn't count for anything x.x

I know they want to cap it out to make it "fair" but is it really "fair" to those that put even more time into it then just level capping one character?

It solves the problem for those that only play one character I guess. I know some of my friends that have multiple v14s will most likely quit the game over this, for basically getting screwed over because they put more time and effort in playing the game then others.

I'm still slightly annoyed because it's such a low cap, I could only imagine how they feel after putting in nearly 3 times as much work into their characters then I have.

Yeah, it's a slightly better fix but it still sucks. I wonder why they're keeping the points to account. If they kept the same system but had the points keep to character instead of account, wouldn't that make more sense? Why does it have to be per account?

I understand per account because any champion points you gain on character A can be used on character B (any new character you make can use the champion points that your higher levels earned). I just don't understand why the cap is so low.

Ah I see. Maybe if we keep complaining they'll fix the cap. xD

Yea, I mentioned something on the forums about it. I was told to "stop nitpicking".

Which is funny, because since that persons concern was that they were on the same level as some v1 while they are at v14... but since "their" problem was solved they didn't care anymore and telling people to stop nitpicking...

well just as they don't want to be on the same level as some v1... there are those that don't want to be on the same level as people with only one v14 lol
