Name: Leiift-Khar
Age: 20
Race: Khajiit
Flair: A few spots of singed fur here and there along his arms, and a straight, seared scar across the back of his right hand.
Rumors: This one is known as a hard, dedicated worker when he puts his mind to it, but if allowed to become lazy, he will milk it to the fullest. This one likes to work with iron and maple, is quite new to the area, and to his crafts.
Background: Leiift-Khar is a young Khajiit with a passion for learning the ways of metal and wood, originating from a wandering group of Khajiit in Skyrim. Raised to be a merchant at heart, and a defender of his family, Leiift grew up learning how to swing one of his father's greatswords in the defense of those he cares about. Everyone else...well, not so much. Being a nomad as he was, social connections outside of his family often consisted of business dealings, fleeting friendships, and most often bittersweet goodbyes. Through these travels, he was sculpted into a very reserved and cautious person around strangers, not wishing to experience the pain of separation time and time again as he spoke to them.
Through these years of travelling and selling, Leiift had the opportunity to lightly learn how to craft metal and wood from other merchants within Skyrim, though he never got the chance to improve upon the craft much - his first duty was to his family and fellow merchants. In the process of this, he was only able to learn how to work wood and metal, maple and iron to be exact. There was never time to deepen his knowledge.
After continuing this lifestyle for more than 19 years, however, Leiift-Khar decided that he was tired of travelling, tired of Skyrim - he wanted to learn the crafts he had picked up to the fullest, maybe even improve upon other crafts as well. So with a sad farewell to the only people he had ever truly shown emotion around, Leiift-Khar left his travelling band to find a new home, somewhere that he could settle down in.
