Backstory: Technically born a slave to an elderly guar herder in eastern Morrowind, Ahzrji was too young to understand her true situation. Happily, she tended and cared for the guars and their calves along side her aging mother. When sickness spread across the lands, the elderly dunmer master fell sick and perished, an opportunity for freedom Ahzrji's mother was quick to take. The pair moved far from the friendly purring guars she knew and loved, settling in the strange lands of Elsweyr.
For many uneventful moons their sun baked earthen hut was her world. Overprotective and superstitious, her mother forbade her from traveling far, especially to the neighboring tribes. Merchants and lost travelers would bring fantastic stories, clothing and books from foreign lands she yearned to experience one day. When her curiosities spread to darker magics, her mother's grip only tightened, preaching that cavorting with daedra would make her 'bent' and corrupted. Nevertheless, the idea of seeing these strange and fantastic beasts from Oblivion was an inescapable desire for the kitten. Her temptation was finally curbed only when she managed to bring forth a scamp that quickly broke free, resulting in several claw injuries to her face. Books, farming and fishing took up most of her free time as the years dragged on.
Under her mother's yoke, she grew indecisive and overly cautious as a young adult. It took the death of her mother from the flu ravaging the regions to finally give her incentive to leave. Even still, several months passed before she found the courage to actually do so. She had never even seen most of the races she read about. Free from her mother's superstitions, and pondering the life of an adventurer, Ahzrji attempted to once again summon a scamp for protection. This time, her will was just strong enough. A very minor accomplishment by any normal measure, Ahzrji saw this as a rather grandiose event, one certainly worth bragging about. With that, she set sail for distant lands, eager to impress and be impressed.
The Now: Ahzrji is a charcoaled furred terror of summoning, or so she would like to convince others. In truth, she can barely summon and control a mere scamp. Scars that adorn her face are a testament to earlier, unprepared attempts at summoning, a skill that requires complete domination and control. Despite her adoration of wanting to mentally dominate daedra to her bidding, her heart beats to a more tender tune. A lover of guars and similar beasts of burden, born from a soft spot held over from her childhood, Ahzrji won't stand for abuse or harm from their masters. This duel nature does not bode well for future summoning, for tenderness is a weakness stronger daedra can extort.
Normally reclusive and unused to interaction, the young and inquisitive cat hungers to sate her curious appetite for the world in which she has only now been able to explore. Her desire is to find others and teachers who are accepting of daedric summoning who won't see her as a potential 'bent' cat, perhaps even putting her skills to good use along the way. Having just landed on Alinor, she first needs to find a skill to put food in her belly...
