Background: Decumus Calus was born on the battlefield, Parents were respected soldiers in the AD Marines but were killed by the Ebonheart Pact. Decumus was found after the battle and sold into slavery, he was raised in a gladiatorial school surrounded by warriors and criminals. Forced at such a young are to fight for basic needs like food and clothes Decumus rose quickly gaining favor with his owner and with favor came rewards. Decumus was allowed visits from a priest who he came to see as a father figure. This priest began schooling Decumus in the ways of the Templar, but one summer while the priest was away trying to help he was struck down by the very group that took his parents. using his hatred for the Ebonheart Pact decumus hacked and slashed his way through the arena gaining his freedom. Once free Decumus decided to use the skills he shaped over his life to help those in need and bring the pact to their knees for all the pain they brought him over the years. But Decumus is not without fault, like most gladiators he was a weakness for wine and women, and often spends his days in taverns drinking away the memories of his brutal past. when he is in a sober enough state to leave city walls he is a great addition to any team, but come upon him while in a tavern and find his mood to be of a rather different nature
