(Guild Event Summaries for the days of 2/6/15 to 2/9/15)
The formal election for Council over Vulkwasten was held, opening up and informing the citizens of the town of the positions of Mayor, Master Healer, Master Mage, Master Merchant, and Guard Captain. Votes were casted for four of the five positions, and potential candidates for Guard Captain expressed their interest in the Arena competition that would be held days later. The evening ended calmly with the memorial funeral for Menelin Bluebrook's husband.
Tension was in the air with much shouting between Elsynia and Ainoath. The male ran around with great hostility in his drunkenness, nearly injuring her, and ending with him in jail. The next day, the townspeople learned of his condition within the cell as he screamed and writhed under pain from Daedric influence. Healers and guards came to try and assist, but Ji'ara the Thalmor Khajiit saw that it would be best to end the life of the potentially dangerous Bosmer, to which he did. Fighting broke out, then ended with John Wolf giving arrest to guardsman Eranor Bluewisp for assaulting the Thalmor officer after his attack on Ainoath. He was soon after released, with punishment, under the influential word of Elsynia. Ainoath was given a funeral, and mourned for.
The day of the Arena came, and the council positions were announced! Elsynia for Lady of Vulkwasten, Ri'Zharim for Master Merchant, Ainaon for Master Medic, and Maedhros for Master Mage. Soon after, the town moved to the Arena for the competition, to which was judged and overseen by the new Lady of Vulkwasten and her Council members. In the running was Bhidul, Malyne, Nelliel, Eranor, Ji'ara, and Alijham. All fought bravely and spoke smartly, but in the end, Eranor claimed the highest respect of the council. All that remains now is for the Bosmer to choose who will be his second in command and take proper control of the guard force within Vulkwasten under uniform.
