Just a line to say hi, my real life name is Amy but Chrome is fine too I try to use the same login for every online game i play so pals can find me. (It's Chromaticwyrm) Been role playing since NWN even ran my own NWN2 server (aka DM_Bucephalus) if anyone ever played Dalelands Beyond. So I am not new to RP just new to the world of ElderScrolls but I did bother to read some lore :thumb: feel free to correct me in game if I screw it up because there was a lot! I work crazy odd schedules so for some events I maybe hit or miss.

Also if anyone knows a good site about ES gods, most are a bit confusing as to who is who.

...I also tend to ramble. >:D So hi everyone!

Welcome Amy! <3
I've never played those games. >.>
But cool!

The Imperial Library is generally the most accurate and considered cannon site for lore, as it has pretty much every book from every Elder Scrolls Game ever. There's a little search bar if you have a specific topic in mind. If you need a very quick brief on gods, the Pantheons of Tamriel Wiki page is not bad. Gods tend to vary depending on the race/ pantheon, so it can be a bit confusing. Just as a warning though, stuff on the Wiki page is probably not as accurate as The Imperial Library, but is still good for a passing reference. c:

Let me know if you have questions! I'm @Sweet_Roll_Thief. Can't wait to see you in game. c;

I wouldn't trust the Wiki ever, if you need a quick ref, the USEP is the place to go. Elsynia is correct that the Imperial Library is your best source.
USEP: Gods

Welcome Amy! :D I never got to play Neverwinter, I heard they were good games though.

As they said above The Imperial Library is a great place, and also as Elsy said, each race varies with their own pantheon. Some using different gods, some using the same gods but a different name for them. Also keep in mind that there are many contradictions to the lore, most likely authors writing in their own bias or it being like a game of telephone where information gets altered the more ears and mouths it passes through haha.

Take my own character for example, there was a major battle in Stonefalls with the Akaviri, some books say the Akaviri army survived that particular battle, some say all the Akaviri soldiers that took part in that battle were wiped out. Soldiers write some books, each one written in their own eyes.

TL;DR Imperial Library is great, Don't be surprised if you run into contradictions hahaha
