Hey guys, thought it would be cool to make anew an old thread we had (which is now pretty flooded haha). Where we posted our favorite songs or ones we had stuck in our heads for the day. Maybe even add your favorite line or something about it that you like :P

To avoid people having to load up so many images/videos at once, please put the video in a spoilers tag. Please and thank you!

Flogging Molly - May the Living be Dead in our Wake

"Will you dance with me now heavens child sang the clown, We`ve nothing left to lose but your wings and my frown"

Bad Religion - All There Is

"And if pigs could fly, then surely so could I, but this pedestrian knows better than to even try"

Avicii - The Nights

Thrice - Daedalus

Funny story about this song ^, my brother loved this band, so he showed me this song while I was visiting out in Vegas. I got a huge grin on my face listening to it, and he started smiling because I really enjoyed it. However, what he didn't know was, I had a huge smile because the song was based on the story of Icarus and his father Daedalus. It is the story in greek mythology of "the boy who flew too close to the sun". It was cool to have him show me a great song, and to teach him a little something about the story behind it.

Living Legends - Moving at the Speed of Life

"On a bar stool tryin to stay sane and maintain - this feral blood drinking wolfsbane"

Social Distortion - Reach for the Sky

"But the day may come when you got something to lose, and just when you think you're done paying dues you say to yourself "Dear, God What have I Done?" and hope its not too late cause tomorrow may never come"

Taking Back Sunday - Liar

I go from zero to 80 in like 5 seconds, so here's a sampling of some songs across a few genres that I've been listening to recently. I usually listen to a lot of a single artist/band, so I'll just pick my more favorite songs or ones people would be more familiar with. Warning with swearing and whatever. Have fun. >.>

Well... this thread needs a bump, so 2 days ago Bullet for my valentine released a new album called venom. I have become addicted. My ears shalt not listen to anything else for the next few days. Usually there is a bit less screaming than the song below, but I love the chorus so.... deal with it.

No Way Out (He says the word with the F in it once or twice FYI)

Pillar ( a christian band you have been warned that the music may have religious influence) has released a new album, after 6 years of waiting for it. Aditionally, This one song will have my ears bleeding soon because im listening to it way too much.

Here's another great song from a great band I learned about a year or so ago. (be warned they are a religious band though not very apparently in most of their songs) Sent by Ravens with "Never be Enough" (From mean what you say, hard to find the album on youtube but the entire album is amazing)

Remember, this thread is for everyone, not just me. Feel free to post any music here you listen to, whether it be a very long list or just a song.

skipped a month, but I still gotta update this (otherwise how will new members know where to find The thread to post all of their favorite music?) Anywho, this isn't a new song exactly, but nonetheless good and somewhat recentish. Also I'll be back the 12th of march with some nine lashes most likely. (also look someone else posted yay)

So glad this is getting some use by newer members (by newer I mean post- "What do you listen to?" ver. 1) Anywho, as I said I'd be back here again on account of Nine lashes' new album, but this is going to be a bit longer than a normal post.

First, Lemme just list my "favorite" songs from this album (brand new life is actually pretty good)
(also this is a Christian band, you have been warned)

Galaxy

Heartbeats

Brand New Life

(I know it's kinda weird for me to review music rather than just list it) If anyone who's talked to me about music or listened to the music I've put in these posts, you may be asking "Why is that not rock?" I'm asking the same question. Nine lashes was an alternative rock band, and although this sounds like a technopop/worship album (some bands do rock and worship albums separately, like Kutless), they talk like this is their new sound. They are very talented, it's just sad to see another rock band bite the dust and hit the pop since many other bands have recently dropped the rock scene. If you're wondering what they used to sound like, these are some examples:

Anthem of The Lonely (first album under label)

In the Dark (From Second Album)

(guess I should mention that had a lot more positive songs than these too >.>)

Anywho, hope some that aren't so into heavier rock enjoyed this one as well as those who do (since there's music for both) and hope ya'll share yer music with the guild too

Phase one: Neohumanity.

Heres a playlist featuring all the songs on this album My favorite song on this album is Technocalyptic Cybergeddon. To me listening to this album is like reading a short story, and the images I get are remarkable.

Well, here's a song that brightens my mood after listening to nine lashes' ascend: Sixx A.M.'s single from their album coming out 29th of April (prayers for the damned) called Rise. positive lyrics too, because Nikki Sixx + dead for a few minutes = life changes = Sixx A.M. So happy they didn't stick to the experimental pop-rock music like their last album, modern vintage (though there were like 2-3 really good songs off of that) honestly, if you haven't noticed, I'm not a fan of rebellious candy (hehe, get it? pop rocks... they pop around your mouth instead of just being eaten... no? not funny? whatever) Anywhom, whope ya'll enjoy this one (I know I didn't wait a month how could I? How could I manage to use so many parenthesis in one post too? I'm such a horrible person)

Well, itt's been a while, but I've got some music for ya'll to either listen to or ignore, your choice of course, but there's a band called chevelle and they decided after seeing this website that they were going to dedicate their newest album to Hlor's goat. I mean, it's not true, but there is a goat on it, so like, it could've been. Maybe. Either way it's alternative metal and it's on the weirder side of the things I listen to, and also their symbol is my Avatar pic atm, yes.

chevelle: Enemies (dunno or care of the meaning behind the song, but be warned as they're a weird band, also there's some no no words

Don't forget to list some of your current or favorite music if you want to!
