The truth of how Ceamach na Luatha came to be known varies from storyteller to storyteller.
Some have an ax to grind with her (some even literally) regarding her activities and her magic
use.
As far as she can remember she must be about 27 years old. As a child she was not well liked in her village. When she was needed to drive off a swarm of giant hornets or to help with other un-pleasantries that was when the elders had any dealings with her. And in fact, she was rather glad to be left alone and to be able to wander the woods and fields. She felt close to the natural world around her, people were to be tolerated at best. There were some good people who tried to help her, but mostly Jer ta Mar, the woman who raised her was all she really knew of kindness and tender feelings. She taught her, and she learned.
Now she travels, she travels to learn and she travels to get as far away from her village as possible.
She can be called upon to help, but she is in no way altruistic, she is in it for the gold or treasure as much as the experience.
