Ta'agra: The Language of the Khajiit

Hello everyone! I've been here for a little while and I wanted to share something with the group.

My husband and I have been working for almost a year now on developing the Ta'agra language. This has been a massive project and it's something we are very excited about. Even though the language is still very much under construction, we wanted to share our work with the community. Please keep in mind things are still subject to change (especially grammar rules, we are still working on getting those to a point where we are happy with them). We appreciate any comments or feedback if anyone would care to share.

The dictionary currently has over 700 words, most of which we created ourselves. We have posted all of our notes, source documents, canon language analysis, and other information on our website. My husband (Kiarash/Thayin) is also working on a custom written script for the language and this is also posted on the website.

This is really cool! At heart, this Bosmer is truly a Khajiit, and seeing this language actually being developed is awesome! Up until ESO, I've almost exclusively played and role played as a Khajiit, so this is really, really cool to see. I'm excited to see where this goes. Thank you for doing this!

Should it be natural for all khajiit? Curious since kronos doesn't know a single ounce of it.

No, it's no more natural for a khajiit than a native language is for a person. It all just depends on where you're raised. If, when a khajiit was growing up, there was no one to teach him/her, then that khajiit wouldn't know the langauge. Generally speaking, khajiit raised in Elsweyr will know it, as well those raised in khajiit communities outside of Elsweyr.
