Skoomer is slightly smaller than your average Khajiit, with a thin, wiry frame covered in orange fur with black stripes. His eyes are flashes of deep orange behind his narrow gaze. Just above the black beard framing his lower jaw, protruding slightly from below his upper lip are the two hints of his incisors. He often wears his jet black hair pulled back, allowing it to rest gently along the back of his shoulders.
Flair: Around his neck is perpetually draped a knotted leather necklace, bearing a dried piece of nightshade root. His face is adorned with a golden eyebrow ring over his right eye, and two matching gold rings in his right ear. The fingertips on his left hand are calloused and hairless, with his claws filed to very short, fine points.
Personality:
Skoomer is a storyteller at heart, and tends to boast about awe-inspiring adventures that may or may not have actually happened, or that may have happened to someone else. As such, he finds the defining line between "truth" and "fiction" to have very little value. Occasionally he lies with such commitment and sincerity of tone as to convince himself that these events actually took place, and will risk his questionable brand of honor to defend it. He is totally resolute in his own unique moral code, holding it paramount to any worldly possession.

Rumors: Due to his distasteful name, Skoomer is often associated with the Skooma trade, and it is often assumed that he is a smuggler, alchemist, or generally a peddler of Skooma (even after being proven innocent of such charges). He is also often associated with Sheogorath worship by other Khajiit, largely due to his name as well as his chaotic demeanor.
Background:
Not much is publicly known about Skoomer's background, because he has a tendency to tell parts of it differently every time. The truth behind his widely varying stories is that he was raised as a Dunmeri slave. He chose his own (rather odd) name shortly after escaping, as a nod to one of the cultural idiosyncrasies that Khajiit are best known for in an expression of his desire to reconnect to his Khajiiti roots at the expense of the often oppressive social formalities so present in Dunmer society. It is because of this odd "live in the moment" single-mindedness that he quickly found favor within the ranks of the Renrijira Krin. Though he never officially joined their numbers (and vehemently denies any association), he considers their tenants perfectly in line with his own, and considers himself an unofficial member by way of his genuinely and independently aligned intent. With that, he accepts work with the Renrijira Krin whenever he finds the cause to be noble, or the payout to be lucrative.
While in his captivity, he was taught the musician's trade but hates working as a bard (and has a strong distaste for playing music by request or on command). When asked to play music for an audience, he will often play very technically complex, nonsensical music to invoke a distaste for his music from the non-discerning ear. Despite his uniquely "alternative" method of play, he has a strong appreciation for music/musicianship in general, and especially appreciates original music.
A true agnostic, he has never sworn allegiance to any deity, though it's apparent through the telling of his many (mostly fictional) stories that he has no qualms with interacting with or impersonating them. On occasion he has been accused of being an avatar or embodiment of Sheogorath (due likely to the Daedric Prince's alternate name in Khajiiti religion - "Skooma Cat"), to which he may respond to differently depending on the occasion, but in truth he has never held any such affiliation and never plans to. Though he seldom makes use of it, he is one of the few Khajiit who show a natural affinity for magic, which is most often only used for the purpose of reinforcing a false impersonation or story.
