Now If the title got your attention, I have something for you. I have recently picked up creative writing, and have been writing my own little medieval fantasy book thing, and I would like to share the first chapter. Now do keep in mind that I am not good at grammar, and I know that this is in the General discussion because this has nothing to do with ESO so it would not fit in the Story section.

Chapter One: The Blind Queen

“My Queen” called out a strange voice. As she heard the voice, she opened her eyes slowly and only saw black, the color to remind her what had happen to what feels about a lifetime ago “Yes, I am awake” She said back to the strange voice “And I can dress myself, don't need you to worry” She reached over to where her nightstand would be and searched the sides for a handle “My Queen if you need any hel-” “I do not need any help, I can do just fine” She shouted as she grabbed the handle, slowly pulling what felt like a gown out of it “And before you say I need help again, please prepare the throne room” She said undressing, not caring if the servant was there or not “Yes, My Queen” is all she heard before the sound of loud footsteps echoed off the walls. As she was dressed, she called out for her handmaidens. They quickly ran into her room when the one called Jeyne said “My Queen, what do you require?” The Queen grabbed her hair pulling it slowly “I want you to fix my hair” Jeyne reached out for the Queen’s hand “Come, sit down” The Queen gave a slight nod as she sat down then felt hands braiding and pulling on her hair “Your hair look lovely this day, My Queen” She remained quiet as she could still imagine what her dark brown hair had looked like, before what her court members called “The War of the Seasons” For the war had lasted for three seasons, at the beginning of winter it ended, or so what some thought. Everyday she heard from her guards and handmaidens that High Lord Daleric was still fighting in the west, while she was exiled to an island chain not far from Auneil “My Queen, your hair is done” Jeyne said as she slowly moved the Queen off of the chair “Jeyne, can you help me to the throne?” the Queen said softly “Of course, My Queen”.

As Jeyne and the Queen walked towards the throne, the Queen felt a cool breeze upon her face as she turned her face towards the wind “It is a lovely day, the sun has been out, and no clouds are in the sky” Jeyne said softly as they passed one of the Queen’s guard.”I am sure it is, I still remember Varith...the beautiful trees that would bloom pink petals when spring came around..I miss it so”. The Queen went silent while they continued to walk. The palace, from what her servants told her was that it was made from a strange white stone, guile stone from deep within the forest is what she heard. The stone could withstand fire, heat, and absorb water, but she thought that was just a legend. Off in the distance she could hear metal, footsteps and what she could make out was a priest yelling about the four. “My Queen, we are in the throne room” Jeyne pulled on the Queen leading her up steps “You may sit” she said quietly as the Queen sat down on her chair. Also what she heard was the chair in the throne room was also made from the same stone. The chair was bright white with dark sapphires covering it.
As she sat down she hear one of her court members say “All rise for Queen Lysanna. Queen of Auneil, Ruler of Varith, The Beloved, and First of Her Name” The Queen stood then sat back down “You all may be seated” She heard footsteps come closer to her “My Queen” A familiar voice said. She could always recognize her son's voice “Darien, my son, you do not have to call me Queen” She said as she reached up for his cheek, she felt a light beard forming on his chin. The last time she saw him, he had not a speck of hair on his chin “Forming a beard, just like your father did” “I do not think I could do better then him” Darien said moving his mothers hand “But yet, you still try. Now tell me of recent happenings” she heard Darien shift a bit “Nothing is new, only that High Lord Daleric is holding western Varith” She sighed “Soon we will return, just not today” Darien reached, grabbing his mothers hand “It will be alright my Queen. I am going to the little village near Jignh” He placed her hand back on her lap “Do take some guards, and do not try to get hurt” She could hear Darien walk from the throne then out the doors of the castle. The rest of her day consisted of dealing with taxes, death of some nearby nobles.

Afterwords Jeyne led the Queen to her room. “Thank you Jeyne, I think I can handle it from here” the Queen slowly walked into her room “Of course my Queen. Sleep well” She heard Jeyne walk away, then closed her door. The Queen undressed and slipped into a nightgown, then climbed into bed. She awoke in a sudden when she heard the door closed, she didn't even know when it was “Who goes there?!” She sat up reaching over to try to find a knife, but she felt cold steel against her chest. Someone had climbed onto the bed “Do not worry Queen, I know your desires, how you want things to be. If you wish to live then you shall listen” The Queen nodded then sat there as the stranger talked until she fell asleep.

THIS WAS AMAZING! Really, as a creative writer of 5 years, I can tell you that this is better than most things that I've written.
