*Melane is leaning against the tavern wall sitting on the ground. She opens her book slowly flipping pages until she has reached a blank page.*
Why did this have to happen? I never wanted to kill anybody especially just a kid. Why? I just wanted to stop him.. Just. Please... Let him rest in peace. Even though he tried to attack and did skooma ju- *Tears from Melane drop in different places on the page*
I can't let Falen know. I don't wanna lie but... Oh Y'ffre.. Please help us.. I. I. Oh gods. Not this please no.. I couldn't believe myself.. I hope the others saw my sorry.. But why would they? I killed a damn kid.. What if something like that happens to Falen?? No. I would give up all my belongings, even my life to keep him safe.
