4/21/15 Meeting Agenda (Still Adding Things)

I'll be trying my damnedest to be at the meeting, but I've got a 2 min animation due tomorrow and only half of it is done. It takes me 2 hours to do 30 seconds of animation, so you can see why I may have trouble making it on time. Nonetheless, here is the agenda.

Administration
-Do you guys wanna keep me as a GM? I will not be there for this discussion, so you can all vote and discuss whether or not I should stay.

• Should you guys decide yes, I'll pop in and we can continue down the agenda in the spoiler box.
• Should you guys decide no, pick a temporary GM and notify me, so I can pass GM and make preparations to leave.

There's gonna be a lot of things happening with the guild in an attempt to correct the problems we have. I won't give up on you guys as long as you don't give up on me. As always, please remember nothing I say or do is law. If you have issues with what I'm doing, tell me. I cannot correct myself if no one is telling me what I'm doing wrong.

-Who wants to stay? I'm warning you now, while I may not be around this next week or two, once I'm out of finals I'll have ample amounts of free time, and since clearly some things are not working for us right now, I'll be doing quite a bit of restructuring. I need people who have their heart in it. It'll be work, but as always if something comes up IRL, I understand. I'm going to try my best to make it fair and make it so no one is overwhelmed with anything.
-What am I doing that needs improvement? Again, I won't know until you tell me.

Problems with Guild
-What issues do we have as a guild? Open it up for discussion.

Auction:

- Who will be running the auction this Saturday the 25th, I wont be able to run it due to having an exam the next day
- Also we need to discuss the state of this event in generally, Ive been noticing low guild participation for the last several months. Most attending now are not guild members.
- If we want to continue to keep the auction as an event we also need more help from officers to run it, currently there have been a selective few who run it, Ive personally ran the auction for the last couple months almost every weekend but I do not want to continue this way for the future. I am continuing to run this event since I am enjoying myself with it but there will come a time when I will be burnt out and its best we have something so this does not happen. Also the current state of the event is that if I was not running things, I dont think it would be ran.

(Some of the above text may be a bit repetitive/rambly, hopefully its not too bad)

Just thought of a few other things I would like to add/mention which should be discussed.

- In attending the rp event yesterday I noticed that there was a lot of OOC joking going around which in principle is fine however at moments the (()) just flooded the rp chat and I can see how someone would feel left out if a whole bunch of ppl in rp are doing this at the side. I think we should try and limit the OOC chat happening during rps to mainly brbs, afks and to be used when we need to OOC talk about the rp or clarify something. We have a guild chat, and why dont we use the guild chat for random OOC chat during the rp events so if someone doesnt want to see it they can just turn guild chat off and rp chat is much cleaner.

- As of writing this we have 18 officers (including seniors and guild master). It does not feel like we have 18 officers. There are usually several on at peak times however when I asked if anyone was available to help me during the auction (@Aneova wanted to take a break that day for rp) but no one responded. Not even just a simple, no I cant because of that and that reason or something. Bottom line is that we need to make sure all the officers are pulling their weight as an officer because else that title is not deserved and this is something we have been too soft on perhaps. (This may sound harsh but Im not trying to insult anyone, things just have to be said as they are)

I agree with everything Ice just posted. There's quite a few things that need changing like we keep saying, over and over. Since I'm obviously not doing a good job with actually enacting these changes as pointed out to me, if you guys even still think I'm capable as a GM and would like to keep me, I plan on doing some overhauls in 2 weeks once I'm done with finals, as I'll have ample free time then.

But of course, that's only if you even think me good enough, or trust me enough, to allow me to stay.

I will be releasing my idea for restructuring the guild as I see would bring it out the state that it is currently in. I've already ran this idea past a number of the officers.

sounds like good ideas to me guys, I'll make sure to get my coffee haha.
