You as the Emperor/ Empress?

For this thread basically imagine you're main has somehow managed to rise and claim the Ruby throne? How was there rule? What did they do with there new position? Did there life end horribly, or did they pass peacefully in there sleep? Perhaps they went mad with power, changed Tamriel for the better? Share it! Just simply post it in the style of it being in a history book, biography, or even a teacher lecturing his/her students.

Emperor Malyne the Humble.

Emperor Malyne rose to power during the end of the great war between the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and Ebonheart Pact ending the great war. He originally never planned to gain such power, as he was originally nothing more than a guard to a small town in Valenwood with a few friends. Due to reasons unknown, he would have joined the fight in Cyrodill as a sell-sword for the Dominion, taking part on what would be a suicide quest to seize the throne for Queen Ayrenn. Not only defying the odds and succesfully seizing the throne with the group of sell-swords he would discover they General expected them to die and be used as nothing more than decoy. It was decided bye the group to break there contract with the Dominion and seize the throne for themselves electing Malyne to take the throne.

Upon then, word would spread like wildfire of a Dunmer claiming the throne with nothing more than a band of mercenaries to help defend his right to claim it. With thinking he would manage to quickly rally the Imperial people behind his back along with many "outsiders'. Using the forces he could gather he would force the Dominion, Pact, and Covenant out of Cyrodill using guerrilla warfare and saving many villages in the process.

As soon as Cyrodill was taken back, his focus would soon turn to repair the fallen and destroyed region slowly rebuilding everything along with setting new laws and rebuilding villages, putting in new council of advisers for what would soon become the new Empire. With the assistance of the council he would send a request to meet Queen Aryenn for a proposal to be allies, after some debate as a way to prove his pure intentions he willingly went to Auridon with nothing more than a small group of guards. During this meeting it would be decided that they would have open trade between there lands, going as far as to even defend one another under the condition to simply allow and previous Imperial villages or bases in Valenwood to act as a Imperial embassy, along with building a few Dominion Embassy's in Cyrodill.

Word would not take long for Malyne to hear word of the Pact crumbling in frustration of losing the war and slowly turning on each other. Taking advantage of this the Emperor would slowly rebuild what was almost the previous Empire first gaing hte Argonains, then the Orismer, Redgaurds, and the Bretons. The only provinces refusing membership being Skyrim and Morrowind. For the next few years he would rule his new found Empire maintaining peace among the provinces.

The following years would mark a flourishing time under the new founded Veles Empire. Managing to banish and almost ridding the Empire of slavery and great economic growth. Although met with much criticism he allowed the worship of some Daedra, notably Azura and Meridea along with others. However he never did officially outlaw the worship of other Daedra.

Emporer Malyne Velas was very well known for participating in the Empire's military campaigns. A few notable battles with defending Black Marsh from House Dres invaders, repelling Maomer attacks on a fleet he commanded. He would also be known when he became older, and his hair began to turn silver that as he convinced Skyrim to join the Empire he would have also lead attacks on the wild clansmen.


Malyne Veles would have had several attempts on his life made, frequently at the hands of the Dark Brotherhood, surviving each one. He would have also been known to almost die in battle several times never fully succumbing to death until much later in life as a older Mer leaving the Empire in the hands of one of his heirs.

Notable facts of Emporer Malyne Velas.

-Noted best friend and bodyguard a Bosmer known as Eranor Bluewhisp.

-Often wore armor known as Emperor's Regalia into battle and whenever he left his home.

-Would be common to find the Emperor talking and socializing to everyone from poor farmers, rich nobles, and humble guards. Even going as far as to give them money if needed in order to help anyone in poverty.

-Known to make many trips to Valenwood and Elsweyr to visit very close friends.

-Subdued many assassination attempts on his life bye himself, or saved bye his bodyguard.

-Held his wife and close friends in high regards, even going as far as to have considered nobility within the Empire, along with there descendants.

-Always participated in any battle that involved protecting his people, notably when at war with Morrowind.

-Eventually at some point in the later years of his life convinced Skyrim to join the Empire.

-Helped reduce racism, managing to spread his views on everyone being equal.

-For the most part, restored the Empire only not touching Morrowind, and the Dominion.

-Notably known for participating in major battles in Cyrodill and int he other provinces that involved defending cities, and even villages.

-Believed to have started a small trend among his soldiers to get tattoos, be it small hard to spot or adorning most of there body like his.

Interesting, here's what would go down if it were Bhi:

Emporer Bhidul...

After several years, Bhidul gained a higher spot in the Dominion navy. He showed the true ways of fighting on the hug seas, eventually making him the grand Admiral of Dominion's sailors. His fighting spirit compelled others to take change of their tactics. Finally, he began his daring plan to take the ruby throne for power, a new change on Tamriel. He aimed at making the Aldmeri Dominion the overall ruling force in on the continent, hoping to wipe out the other two factions. It was time to attack. Bhidul and his fleet of ships were able to sail to the Daggerfall Covenant shores and demolish their defenses. He then deployed mass amounts of soldiers, now using his new tactics, to take over and spread around the Covenant in a month's time. When he managed to get under the skin of the Covenant, he turned half the men to Cyrodiil to take out Covenant forces from behind, even taking some elder scrolls in favor. When they took the other slice of Cyrodiil out, his soldiers then sieged the imperial city. The pact stood no chance against the strength and numbers. Finally, the ruby throne was taken, however, it was not for Ayrenn... As he took the throne, he convinced the citizens to give him the right for the throne. Also, he gave the mane of Elsweyr rule of the bottom half of Tamriel, however the pact was not yet fully defeated. Bhidul sent multiple fleets to reign hell upon the shores of the pact and rid of the soldiers. After two months of war, he finally ended the Pact. Bhidul ruled for the prosperity, and the punishment of slavery. He would create a special prison province in Tamriel, simply a large sheet of land used for holding prisoners... Heavily guarded... He signed a document giving the mane of Elsweyr control over the southern areas of Tamriel, as Bhi would claim the north. He designed a new government, all Aldmeri rule, except more freedom and equality. Racism was forbidden, and even fined if it were to flare, and would allow anyone to worship any god, heretic, daedra, or even idol as long as it did not harm anyone in the process. After years of trading with north Tamriel and south, the new nations prospered, however Bhidul vanished, giving his oldest son, Ro'kir, the throne. Bhidul was rumored to have been assassinated after giving a speech about the new nation, and a new dawn of equality. When he went to a large military base made out a massive Dwemer ruin, where he was found with a crossbow bolt through his skull. Bhidul was assassinated at the base by an Imperial slaver who was opposed to Bhi since ten start. Bhidul died at age 52. Soldiers gathered and buried Bhi in a massive tomb, leaving his son to rule from there on. Rumors were that his son wanted to expand over to Akavir to see if he could create some sort of relation.

((Ah, for this, I want to take it waaaaay back, to my first ever character in ESO. Also, keep in mind I wrote this up at 3 A.M, it's, in essence, a rough draft.))





The first years after the fall of the Empire, Xaninis Quinius, a General of the Imperial Legion in his own right, resided in the Dominion, despite their blatant disdain for him and his people.

His time in the Elven and Khajiiti provinces taught him much, not only in regards to the hate held almost continent-wide, but also of the tactics of the soon-to-be fallen Alliance. Thanks to a quick wit and silver tongue, Xaninis, having defied the odds, gained many an ally within the Aldmeri Dominion, and even closer 'friends'.

The Imperial was a devious one, though, refusing to truly accept the friendship of those who wished to fell that which he'd worked so hard to preserve. By means of his allies and acquaintances, he quickly rose in the ranks, posing - quite effectively - as a human who'd "seen the light".

By the means of stroking their egos and pride, Xaninis set the Dominion on a warpath towards the Ruby Throne, despite the wishes of Queen Ayrenn herself. With both the Mane and Silvenar backing him in his conquest, she was little-capable of standing in their way without the Dominion crumbling. Having no choice but to follow along, albeit begrudgingly, the Aldmeri Dominion pushed into Cyrodill in force.

It was at this time that Xaninis' plan came together as a whole, and all the puzzle pieces fell into place. He knew the Dominion had little chance against the combined forces of the Ebonheart Pact from the eastern front, and the Daggerfall Covenant from the west.

Despite the best efforts of the Aldmeris, they were utterly crushed in the Heartlands; the remainders of their navy, dispatched in a last-ditch attempt to maintain footing in the war, were sunk off the coasts of the other Alliances. With no army to protect itself, the Dominion, and its rulers, fell to the tides of war.

The Imperial, satisfied with his work, turned to those who would truly shelter him. The Daggerfall Covenant. Though weakened in their battle with the Aldmeri Dominion, they still held great amounts of strength.

As a reward, of sorts, for assisting the Covenant in crushing their foes to the south, Xaninis was appointed the head tactician of the Covenant's military forces, and he certainly lived up to this title. His ability to think on his feet, adapt quickly to change and stay cool under pressure allowed a quick, coordinated, and efficient push against the remaining forces of the Ebonheart Pact. The Pact was little match for the tactical cunning of Xaninis, and quickly retreated back to their homelands.

With the Heartlands now firmly in Daggerfall Covenant control, the matter arose of who to put atop the Ruby Throne. It would be a lie to say that the debate wasn't heated, Xaninis claiming right by Imperial lineage, and King Emeric claiming right by victory.

In the end, after a near-bloody conclusion to the argument, a council of soldiers and politicians alike concurred with Xaninis, reminding King Emeric that the goals of the Covenant were to put the Imperials back on the Ruby Throne and to restore stability. As the General had already proven his leadership capabilities, few were opposed to this seizing of power.

Once atop the throne, adorned in ceremonial Legionnaire's plate, Xaninis wasted no time in planning out his next move.

No more than a year later, Cyrodill, under the watchful eye of Xaninis, had been restored to its former glory; as had its military, the Imperial Legion.

By now, the Alliances had dissolved, conceding to live amongst themselves now that the prize of the Ruby Throne had been claimed under the Fourth Banner, though the formerly Daggerfall Covenant still stood firmly by Xaninis' side.

The 3rd Empire, the Quinius Dynasty, was declared officially marked when Xaninis took the hand of a Dunmer woman in marriage, formerly an avid proponent of the Daggerfall Covenant. No sooner was the ring on his wife's finger than Xaninis ordered the march on the Ebonheart Pact, the final three Provinces remaining non-annexed by the Empire.

The fight was a bloody one, the Argonians of the Marsh rushing to aid the Imperials at the first thought that the corrupt Dunmeri might finally fall.

And fall they did, under the combined might of the reformed Legion and the elite Shellback fighters of the Marsh, Morrowind, and their false gods, crumbled.

This display of might was the breaking point for the Nords, who conceded defeat and surrendered to the Emperor, though they would likely have held for longer than most, the ferocity of their warriors foreboding, even to him. A treaty was quickly signed among those governments that still stood, most hoping not to rouse the ire of the ruthless soldier, and some truly eager to turn their rule over to the Empire they'd fought so long to restore.

The battles were over, the wars won, in only two swift blows. Peace and stability returned to Tamriel, Xaninis establishing his own rule over all of the continent, assigning only those he trusted implicitly rule over the separate Provinces. His rule over Tamriel was strict and unforgiving, many would call him a tyrant, though those people would be wrong. The General abolished slavery among the Imperial Tamriel, assigning equal rights to all of those under his rule, even the Argonians and Khajiit. Though, for many years, this caused turmoil and political upheaval, those that dared question his rule and law were quickly reminded of the Empire's strength. Violently.

Despite the fact that he was a widely-hated, yet at the same time widely-loved ruler, he lived a full life upon the throne, siring two sons who would later compete for his position atop the Throne of the Empire.

Emperor Ro'John the Wise

RJ rose to the throne by approaching the emperors heir and saying "if you can guess my riddle 15 seconds i will be your servent for ever and ever. but if you cant i become emperor" he agreed and couldnt guess the answer and it was a towel. since he out smarted the emperors heir he became heir to the throne. when the 3 banners war broke out RJ supported the Aldermi Dominion gaining momentum and over 2 years taking the throne and further expanded his lands. when RJ came to sit on the throne it was comfortable and RJ demanded to see the biggest badest slaver. he made an example of him and in one swift quill stroke ended slavery across the land. he demanded that all nords shake hands with khajiits and in the 4th era during that dragon thing my mage advisor predicts they must let them in their cities no excuses! (back on track) RJ would not allow the senate to argue and get side tracked all bills where to meet a agreeable terms and benefits for the empire he ordered a statue of bhidul to be erected in the roost just cause. when the red guards tried to rebel against him he beat their commander to death in full view of everyone and made him beg for mercy. years would go by and the empire lived in peace with the senate operating smooth corruption soon set in. to remedy this if any corruption was discovered they were to walk the streets nude and have poo thrown at them. soon RJ had 2 children a son and daughter. the provinces lived in peace and prosperity for many years when RJ left the throne to his son the provinces out of respect and some fear kept to their ways and didnt interfer with his policies or else...>:)
