As on TESO-RP, this is a Rumor Mill so that people can keep up with the goings-on in Vulkwasten and BSR. If you have something that you feel should be public knowledge, post it up here so that the township can have an IC idea of these happenings without being super meta! Lady Nightwind is currently out of town. She has only disclosed the reason for her time away to Guard Captain Bluewisp and has put him, along with Lieutenant Malyne, in charge until her return. She should be back in a few days.

Rumor: Are the streets safe?

An attempt was made on Hloriella’s life by an unknown assailant. They were swift and silent, only nicking her collarbone before darting off from her screams for assistance. All that was known is that they wore a cloak, may have been taller than her, and carried the overwhelming fragrance of vanilla.

Bhidul apprehended an unhinged and highly unstable dunmer fellow who had been waving a dagger about the tavern, spouting nonsense. Before he could be properly questioned, he stabbed himself to death.

It is assumed this stranger was the attacker, however he denied the attack and did not smell of vanilla.

Krimie has recently been dealing with the death of her brother, Nedlas; the departure of her sister, Kraytune and Krimie's own morning sickness.

One of Synn's consorts from Baandari has wandered into town looking for business. He can be found lounging around in corners of the inn or basking in the sun in the town square.

Rumors sneak to the inhabitants of Vulkwasten that they may soon be receiving reinforcements against the Pact oppressors

There a few rumors about a young, homeless Khajiit teenager wandering around town.

{Rumors are abound about sighting of strange things in the jungle. An unusual amount of dead vermin are said to be found in add arrangements, strewn on the ground along with strung up amidst the thick jungle trees. Some even say they have been hearing mumblings.}

Rumor has it that Shivvani is a Princess from the lands of the Daggerfall Covenant and is currently being sought out by people of those lands, to bring her back where she belongs, to do the duty she was born to do whether she likes it or not. She however is known to be refusing this and will attempt to evade anyone who wishes to send her back.

Elsy seems to have been out of town the last week on a family-related trip.

Talk has spread that the local Marshall could bear hug a tree right in half! She is also really fun when she's drunk.

Talk from the frozen wastes of skyrim tell tale of a one eyed sorcerer wandering with dark creatures in tow. Some of the locals of the area claim its the ghost of the thought dead former inspector of Vulkwasten, Ky Anrual.

Rumor has it there has been sightings all around in malabal tor of bandits being hung up on the trees. The only wounds people have found are arrow or maybe crossbow bolt holes in their necks and inbetween their eyes. Whoever is hanging them up is making the forest reek of death

There's a good possiblitly that a magical source of energy (Ley Line) runs under Vulkswasten due to various reasons.

It's clear by now people have noticed Elsy isn't around so much. Some people heard that she broke her ankle and has been resting, with Ali at her side to take care of her and their children.

Lulie and Ran'dall's excuse is close to Elsy's...Lulie is still taking care of Ran'dall who sustained injuries from a bear attack. He can get on her nerves sometimes, but she is very patient and loving.

"The Dagger Cats rescued a local young man from a necromancer that set up a lair in a nearby ruin."

"Local man, Amaund Masoriane, was found dead in his home the other night in his bed after supposedly passing away in his sleep."

"A large Nord came into the tavern the other night preaching about freedom and bashing on the Silver Dawn who have recently come to the town after what happened the other week with the werewolf attack. He pinned a map up in the tavern and told people to meet him there. It was somewhere just a bit east of the town."

Another village filled with Imperial refugees has been burned, among the ashes the Thalmor have found numerous bodies that appeared to be dead for a thousand years.

A flyer hangs to the side of the tavern entrance:

Approximately sixty fliers are scattered throughout the town of Vulkwasten. Flying around the streets, pinned to the Fighters' Guild Hall curtains, and stuffed in the rotmeth bottles in the tavern. A few of them have actually been balled up and stuffed in Elsy's shoes. What are they?

The Silver Dawn have disappeared without a word. A few townspeople mention seeing them leave their room armored up and with weapons. One case states that they met up with more armored folk just outside of town and were talking about a hunting mission. None of them have returned.

White serpent found a lead on some man he was chasing in Cyrodiil. He should return in a few days.

A familiar bosmer woman has been seen entering the local watering hole in the early hours of the day carrying large animals to the kitchen area ever few days. It'd been a very long time since she'd done so, but those that tended the place seemed to greet her with familiar smiles.

If one were to rise early in the morning, they may see Ty passing through Vulkwasten. She had her daggers, bow, and a large pack with her, suggesting she may be gone for more than a few days.

Ran'dall, world famous chef of Vulkwasten has been missing for several months since departing for a bear hunting expedition. He is presumed dead.
His fiance, Lulie Leaf-Lake, still has hopes he is alive and awaits his return.

Flyers around town advertise of a final main event and a masquerade ball in Pa'alat. Guests are invited to join this Fredas in good food and wine, and to watch the final fight between the elected Champion of Vulkwasten and the Proprietor's Champion.

All guests must wear a mask or head-covering. Guests will be asked to vote on who will represent Vulkwasten in the final fight. Voting for said champion will be held on Fredas during the start of the ball!

With Ran'dalls extended disappearance ((you better not be two-timing on Lulie, Randy)), Lulie has asked Lucia Hlaalu to be a manager of the tavern. She graciously accepted. ((should the tavern be renamed..."LuLu's"? mwhahahaa))

Lulie Fun Fact #51: Lulie pays child support to someone she met during her time in the army.

It is rumored that Ganan recently filled Treethane Elsynia's house up with goats, and painted "Ash Yams" on the sides of all of them.

Anyone approaching the tavern would smell a fresh scent in the air as if the tree was never cleaned before. In fact, it would look and smell like a tree cared for by a spinner. Other buildings in town would also have a minty scent to them as if they were clean on the outside
